Ive been here twice now for dinner and really enjoy the vibe as well as the vast beer list and burger options. The first time I ate here was disappointing because they got my order wrong & I had ordered a Opa! burger with a turkey patty, and it was all just a very gross combo. The next time I decided to stick with what a burger place does best-fresh beef-and was very happy with my meal. My all natural patty was perfectly done, flavorful and juicy without being undercooked. The fun part about Cowbell is that you can build your own burger with a huge assortment of pattys including grass fed, steak, all natural, Bison, Wagyu, chicken, salmon, turkey or veggie. You can also mix and match any of these into the specialty burgers. If you are wheat/gluten free they offer a gluten free bun as well as lettuce wraps which is nice. All burgers come with fries or tater tots & I highly recommend the tots. (especially with a side dipping sauce of Ranch). The menu also has salads, soups and a variety of appetizers for those not in a burger mood. Service can be a bit slow here on weekend nights when its very busy so dont come in expecting a super quick meal. There is often a wait, but they usually have bar seats open (and a huge draft beer selection) as well as live music to keep you occupied. Drink prices are also very reasonable here. And of course I couldnt finish this review without saying MORE COWBELL!

- Water tasted dirty - We all got beers, one of which still had leftover sugar rim from a previous drink so clearly it wasnt washed very well - We ordered boneless wings, got bone-in wings (which they fixed) - Someone ordered chicken tacos and there was black charcoal all over it. Flavor was terrible - I ordered a fried chicken sandwich (the "Redneck") which was just a bunch of chopped up chicken fingers with BBQ sauce on them - Burgers were all way off as far as the temperature goes. The well-done ones were literally hockey pucks - There was rap music being played VERY loudly from the kitchen which you could hear in the dining room We were not the only ones to complain. There was maybe 7-8 tables in the entire place and we heard at least 2 others speak up about something. All of this while the owner sat at the bar drinking a beer and watching football. NEVER acknowledged any of the complaining customers. We are locals and have given this place a try several times. I will be sure never to return and also see that no one else wastes their time/money.

Pub grub is always hit and miss, and even if you do get a good meal at one, it often tends to be inconsistent. Different cook/server/day/season issues tend to plague restaurants like this. I have now eaten at Cowbell for lunch on at least 3 occasions, and Ive had a good meal all 3 times. A Specialty Burger ever time, but each time a different type. Ive had the Opa! (feta, cukes, tzatziki), Aloha (teriyaki and pineapple), and the Bacon Bleu (self explanatory), and all were exactly cooked to order, and the fries (or sweet potato tots) were well cooked and seasoned. Every burger comes in a choice of regular beef patty, all natural, grass fed, Wagyu, Bison, chicken, turkey, salmon or veggie. It also helps that they have a great selection of local beers on tap, and with the Maine micro brewery industry in such good shape, theres a lot of good beer to choose from! Service is okay; nothing to write home about.

Burger was greasy, fries were greasy, waitress was lousy. Drinks were the only strong point. Waitress didnt ask if anything was wrong after we pushed our plates to the end of the table with over a half burger on each plate and fries. I do t even think there was salt or pepper on burgers. Straight hamburger no seasoning. I think they were too focused on their cowbell imprint on the buns, because it wad bately half toasted. Prices were too high. Would not go back. Wouldnt recommend.

I love this place! Im really excited by all the recent changes in Biddeford, its coming together splendidly and this place is one of my new favorite places to eat. The music was fantastic (instrumental violin, guitar, bass) which was a nice idea ..you can eat and still carry on a conservation without having to yell over someone singing. The food was great. I highly recommend the sweet potato tots and I dont know what boom boom sauce is but its delicious.

Burgers and chicken sandwich were all delicious, ghost pepper cheese especially! Fries were very tasty as poutine, but pretty C+ on their own, and def skip the sweet potato tots. Beer selection solid enough. Service was pretty bad, really, but not taking any points off for that because it seemed like they were just a bit understaffed at the time which can happen anywhere and they were clearly doing their best.

Food was horrible, medium rare is pink Im center not brown. Not the only ones whos food was wrong, only giving it two stars for live music. But there are better places to go if you just want to drink. Management truly doesnt care and they should. Biddeford is a small town, good service is everything especially when mistakes are made.

Decent burger, but being a place that specializes in just burgers, I guess I expected better. Fries were great. Service was one visit to take our order, one to deliver it, one to collect money, and none to replace empty drinks or check on us, even though the place was empty. Nice space. Ill give it another chance. :)

Despite being "hand pressed" the burgers tasted like frozen meat. Oddly, they use sysco systems food. Odd because there are so many local farms that could supply top rated burgers, lettuce, and tomatoes. Beer selection is very good, but there are 3, soon to be 4, microbreweries within walking distance.

Having eaten here several times now I feel like its safe to say that Cowbell is a great place to grab a burger. The staff is friendly and prompt, even in tourist season, and the cooks understand that there are rareness levels other then mooing and charcoal; a rarity at most places.

Great local beer on tap (Bissel Brothers, Foundation, Lone Pine, Banded Horn and many more) Amazing food with tons of custom burger choices and craft pub classics. Affordable prices, nightly events and a relaxed atmosphere make this a new favorite local spot!

Got some beer and appetizers here the other night and it was great. They gave us big portions and the beer selections were really good. The night we went there was live music that really added to the atmosphere. Will definitely be returning

Was there last week. Burger undercooked. Staff seemed more interested in each others gossip then taking care of customers. Had two drinks with friends and left as did not feel comfortable there at all. Disappointed

These guys know their way around a burger. Ive not found too many places where I can order a medium rare burger and actually get one. My burger was perfectly cooked and very good. I will be going back.

I was back home visiting from Albuquerque last week and was in need of something spicy. I ordered the cheese steak with ghost pepper cheese and got my spice fix. Ill be back the next time Im in town.
