I wouldnt have given them a star but I had to. I want in and bought 3 lbs of crawfish 1 corn and three potatoes. First off I drove all the way from St. Gabriel to get 3 lbs of crawfish. So, I get home started eating and find a fly in my food. I waited before I called bc I didnt feel like driving all the way back to Gonzales. So I called and asked for a manager the guy answers the phone and says I am the manager. I explained the situation to him, he tells me to hold on and proceeds to tell the owner "WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR THIS ONE" Really! I get to the store and the supposed manager says you sure you didnt put the fly in your food! Really! Didnt get my money back I ordered a shrimp and oyster po-boy. No apology or anything. The lady on duty made my sandwich didnt ask what I wanted on my sandwich. also, the manager asked the lady working the bar to weigh the crawfish. Really! Poor service will never eat there again!

Boiled shrimp are huge but cooked poorly, it shouldnt be a chore to peel shrimp. A seafood restaurant in South Louisiana should be experts at boiling shrimp, its not that difficult! The crawfish are OK if you dont get a batch of reboiled crawfish. Owner could be more professional unless he doesnt want return customers.

Have eaten here every time I come down for work, the owner has always gone above and beyond to make sure Im taken care of. I call ahead to see whats in season. Boils my food fresh especially blue crab. He knows me by my orange Harley. Going to see him this week ..July 19 2017
