I understand that employers have to hire incompetence these days. Employees want a higher wage, but don’t want to work for it. Every Sunday afternoon my best friend, and I usually eat out at a nice restaurant after church services are over. Around 1:15 P.M. on December 28 at we decided to eat at this place. The food wasn’t all bad, but I have most definitely ate a lot better, but the service there was terrible. Before I could finish my meal my waitress gave me my bill, and took my dish away. She grabbed my debit cart, and ran card. Usually I give a $5:00 in cash for a tip. She got very angry at me for Xing out the tip portion. I tried to explain to her is that I would rather give her cash. That way she won’t have to report it to the IRS. What really bothered me was that she cussed and said I want a”F-ing” tip. You will never see my face in this raggedy place again.

THE FOOD HAS CARDBOARD IN IT. The food is cheap. But we went eat there my family,friends & I. My sisters friend was on his first plate and found cardboard in his plate. Then it was cooked inside his food. They pretend like they did something about it, the lady didnt seem to care. Then they lied about giving us fifty percent off. But that wasnt the point, he had cardboard in his food. I saw it with my own two eyes. They wont be getting my business anymore. I would pay higher to eat chinese without cardboard in it .And CARD BOARD HAS CHEMICAL IN IT> LET THAT SINK IN !!

Im from Lafayette came to baton rouge to visit family came to eat at shangihia place on Florida Blvd....Was eating the okra gumbo took a bite an was chewing on metal fragments n the gumbo....They only took 20 % off my bill an did not take the gumbo off the buffet line when we asked if they were going g to put fresh gumbo an take that one off they literally told us no they werent going to take it off the line are cook any fresh ..I would suggest anyone eating there to pls be careful ..I want be eating there again .....

I dont leave 1 star often, but this place deserves it. Awful food, and the sushi has the consistency of playdoh. Taste is also similar to playdoh. I knew itd be a bad time the moment I walked in the door though. The smell of this place reminds me of an old folks home thats incrementally lost its funding over the course of 30-40 years leading it to become ground zero for expired moth balls, and faded memories. So the atmosphere is off too. Best to avoid

will never go back. this is the nearest Chinese buffet to my house. i have been there about 10 times and every time it seems worse after this last time i wont go back i will drive out of my way to get Chinese. everything on the buffet was old dry and hard like a brick, so i figured id try there grill get something fresh they under cooked my food there was pink still in my chicken. wont ever go back 05/05/2013

Cheap price. Great food. Variety. Octopus and crawfish on buffet. The people are always very kind to us. Only complaint we have ever had was after dinner coffee being instant but really, coffee isnt a requirement of a Chinese restaurant. Not sure why it has some bad reviews but this is our favorite Chinese buffet in Baton Rouge.

Good food great decorations inside but the service was horrible. A few friends and I went in the other day and things started off OK. But we got our ticket and the server started hawking over us. Literally on our shoulders trying to hurry us to pay. Then got an attitude when we didnt leave a tip because of his actions thru the meal

Very hit-or-miss with this place. sometimes the food is good other times the food is terrible & service is not always very good either. If you dont clear your plate and leave too much food on it, they will charge you a surcharge but they have signs up to let you know that. The hibachi has the best food in the restaurant

This place gives you bang for your buck...8 bucks gets you a wide variety of Chinese and American as well as a full seafood, salad and sushi bar. If youre in the area and have a craving for everything stop in and check it out.

As advertised. Its a buffet. Its all-you-can-eat. The variety is awesome. Everything fresh because the place is busy. Local people, especially big hungry guys in work trucks. Come get you moneys worth!

Good variety and the hibachi grill is great. Its never been bad when I visit on the weekends, but I guess it might vary. They also have a meeting room where you can hold events in the back.
