Food was very good especially the grilled chicken. The young man that waited on us was very nice as well. I would have given a 5 star, but the lady that rang us up when we first arrived had some of the worst customer skills Ive seen. She ignored us for the first few minutes we arrived & I should also mention that there was another guy at the other register who ignored us as well. They just blabbed to each other as we waited. Finally after paying the lady never told us anything about where to sit, when my husband asked she rudely told us to sit anywhere like we were suppose to know, or how the buffet worked. We were confused at first on where the steak part of the restaurant came in the picture. Apparently you go up to the counter & they cook it for you while you wait, which would of been nice to know when we arrived. Please dont assume that all your cutomers have been to your restaurant & know how things work. One of the first thing out of that cashiers mouth should of been "have you been here before" then she could have explained how things work. With that being said I would recommend because the food was good, but hopefully the 2 "geniuses" at the cash registers arent there when you arrive.

This place was gone to because our resturant was closed that day. I am very happy my favorite resturant was closed, this is a sleeper resturant from the street, quite and cozy on the inside but the food was not "sleepy" I would have had to pay 60 dollars at an actual steak house for less food! GREAT!!! The steak was actaully not on the buffet, it was more on a side grill, made to order. It is not carved, and it doesnt sit on its own juices like some other buffets. They can be pulled apart with a fork, and they actually melt. These cooks know there way around a steak. Everything else was an added bonus, my 6 year old didnt leave hungry, which is a good sign because sometimes its hard to get the taste buds for a child.

This is favorite American Style Cuisine Buffet in our area. You pay $12 and its all you can eat and they have tons of options including yummy desserts. I do find that the Steak tends to be kind of tough and was a bit hard to cut with my fork and knife so usually I get the Chicken instead which is tender and juicy. The Steak is delicious but just a bit dry. I also love that they have tons of sides like Mashed Potatoes, Pizza, Fries, several sauces and a medium sized salad bar. The food gets a 6/10 but for buffet food it is never amazing but it is very good considering the price and quantity. I recommend you will get a great big meal.

If you have ever gone to Ponderosa Steakhouse you can imagine how this place is. The food was pretty good...my husband liked the fact that he could go back for as many steaks, hamburgers or pieces of chicken that he wanted. I enjoyed the salad bar....they were constantly replenishing all items, so nothing was too cold or too old. For the price, I think this is a really good deal. The wait staff were also very friendly and attentive!

We were happy to have stumbled across this gem on our first trip to LaCrosse! It was busy on a Saturday night, which we expected, but the line to pay and the line for steak moved very quick. The steak was great, cooked perfect every time. The burger was just meh. The rest of the food was good but, being a steak buffet, I was very happy with the steak. Service was outstanding!

I have been here several times and the experience has been OK. They do have all you can eat buffet but you can only get one 6oz steak per visit. The steaks are of a lower quality which I would expect from an all you can eat. My family loves the place so, If my family comes to town and wants to eat there I will go again.

Wow! You feel like a king (or queen) eating here! My son and I were attending a convention and stopped here! It was an excellent choice! The steaks were great, service fantastic. Even the water was really good, spring taste like! The next time we are in the area, we will stop here again! Excellent price for the food!

I was very pleased with this restaurant. There was plenty to eat and even though it was near closing they werent about to run out of anything. The best part was the meat. Both the steak and the chicken were very good, plus you could get as much as you could eat. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Was there at peak supper time, about 5:30, everything was fresh and tasty. Their batter fried fish is actual fillets that bust apart and are crunchy, tough to do on a buffet. Also have a burger bar, taco bar, and your fill of grilled meats & taters. Priced right & great quality..will be back.

Our first time there-visiting from the twin cities...the buffet price on Saturday was average and the food was terrific! You definitely got your monies worth! Hot fresh food, friendly servers...the steak was amazing as well as the sirloin burgers. Cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend!

For a buffet, the food is kept warm, hot or cold as appropriate and food containers are kept neat and clean. And of course, the 4oz cooked to order sirloins are fantastic as well as the horseradish garnish. They even have hard ice cream in several flavors on the dessert table.

Better quality food all around then ur average all u can eat buffet. With unlimited selection of flame grilled right in front of u meats such as; sirloin steak, grilled chicken, or ground sirloin burger with 3 types of cheese. Friday nights add more to the seafood options.

Is the only place in town with a burger that has flavor with out adding everything under the sun for taste the stakes are awesome as well melt in your mouth. I love having there gravy and potatoes with breadsticks... mmmm making me want to go eat there now.

If you want low quality cuts of steak and a really crowded atmosphere then by all means venture to NCSB. The real upside is that if you have numerous people who cant agree on what to eat they do have enough variety to appease kids and adults.

Steak was great! All the other food was better quality than normal buffet food. And the ice cream was not even soft serve. Cool building nice staff good steak all for $11 not sure how u can go wrong. Place was busy but still no wait

Very nice smiles from the wait staff, extremely courteous. Food was maintained fresh right up till close. I was even asked if they need to keep the buffet open for me to let me finish as I was the last customer on a Sunday night.

One of the best buffets Ive been to (I go often). The line is quick and the food is delicious! Very homey. Selection isnt ginormous, but it was still much to choose from and all very tasty.
