If you want a new dining exper. stop by this place on a friday or sat starting at about 5pm. The pizza combinatioins are so tasty and unique and the small slices they give you (i dont eat the crust) make easy to try several types. The cheesburger, Big mac, Gyro, taco, chkn ranch, just everything taste super fresh. It is also a buffett, so if they come to your table and offer you a small slice you go up to the buffett for more of that type. Also endless salad bar is included with your price. Its a family place too... and often the place is packed by 7pm. But the crowd moved in and out pretty quickly. I say go for it!! IF YOU ARE IN LA CROSSE STOP HERE!!!

Everything here was what you would expect at a typical pizza buffet. The pizza was fine, not great. They had interesting topping choices that made things a little better but they were hit and miss on flavors. The hospital theme could have been creative but it just went too far. I don't really want to think about surgery or a hospital cafateria while I'm eating. They do have a good child play area for kids. The young staff was very unenthusiatic about being there which made it uncomfortable. Overall if you are going to eat pizza downtown go to one of the other places where it is cheaper, better, and fresh out of the oven.

This place is so fun! I love that it is set up like an Emergency Room and even has surgical names for the utensils like sucher and suction for the straws. The Pizzas can be pretty good I love their Mac n Cheese pizza and their dessert pizzas are really good. It is a buffet so you also get their Salad bar which is really fresh. We usually get 2 or 3 pieces at a time if we really like what is coming around. For a buffet I think the quality is decent for that price of like $12 per person. I see a lot of people who complain about the taste but really its not bad for that price and quantity.

Okkie, i live in tomah but this is like the place i like to go the most when we go up to la crosse, which we do alot. this place is amazing!! even if you dont like pizza (i dont) nthis is a great place to go. they have the craziest pizzas ever but they are so good. go during dinner(supper) because thats exploratory surgery. During exploratory surgery you can request pizzas off the menu, they come around to tables with pizzas so you can have all different ones. They are amazing!! Go ther!!

We stopped in after my grandsons ball game on Thursday. It was close to 7:30 pm, closing time is 8:30 pm. We were told that their would be a limited buffet as the late hour. More then that we felt we were not going to be able to enjoy the evening with our party of six being large. I was shocked it only takes a short time to make a pizza. If the closing time would be an hour how could that bother the menu. Maybe next time we should call ahead at noon to be fed at 7:30pm.

If you come, come in the evenings for Exploratory Surgery, their buffet with their specialty pizzas on it. Gyro pizza, seafood, dessert pizzas, the options are almost endless. This is what they are known for. First drink is included in the buffet, and ice tea has free refills. Great salad bar as well, and a free buffet on your birthday. We look forward to coming every year.

I ate there with a roommate about a year ago. Neither of us have a touchy stomach (I know, because we go out to eat together a lot), yet both of us were very ill after eating there. The only special thing about the place was the cute medical names that they use with their service. Whats not cute was how sick we were after eating lunch there.

Pizza choices were fun. In the span of 45 minutes, servers offered mac n cheese, big mac, BBQ chicken, dessert pizzas, kraut and sausage, taco, etc in small slices so I could try at least one of each. Salad bar was good. There is a play area for kids. Pizza is decent, but the choices more than make up for it.

Good place to take visitors just for conversation and laughs. Exploritory Surgery night is fun, and servers coming around with new pizzas is nice. Pizzas however are very bland with little flavor, and service and buffet outside of special night is not great. Salad bar has some kewl fixings though!

At at the dinner buffet with my wife. This is a mom and pop place in downtown La Crosse close to UWL and Viterbo. Its signature draw is its selection of over 100 kinds of pizza. They offer them to order, or on their lunch and dinner buffet. Soda refills are $0.25 and the proceeds go to charity.

Specialty pizzas is your desire? Then this is the place for you to go. They have so many different types of pizzas for dinner and Tuesdays is double punch day on their cards and Thursday is free beer Thursday so with every Pizza buffet you buy you receive a free beer with it cant go wrong there!

Pizza Doctors is THE place to go for specialty pizzas. Want to try a variety? Show up after 4PM for "Exploratory Surgery" and fill up on an endless supply. Salad bar is included and pop refills are 25¢. (That $ gets donated to charity). Been coming here for years. Great place.

Went at 6pm on a Saturday...i get that its prime time for restaurants but apparently pizza doctors doesnt. They had NO pizza on the buffet and only about 1 pizza coming out of the oven every 10 min. We ate two THIN slices and left. Not worth waiting for a piece every 10 min...

Exploratory surgery is the most fun pizza option in La Crosse. Crazy pizzas like BLT and Thanksgiving dinner served buffet style, along with dessert pizzas and a salad bar. My only complaint is that drink refills are not free, otherwise this place is amazing.

What a fun place. I love the enthusiasm behind the name. They have pizza for days and theres no limit to their imagination. Best of all- they bring all the fresh pizzas around to the tables and slap more slices on your plate- no need to visit the buffet!

If youre coming here for a standard pizza and expecting it to be magnificent, youve come to the wrong place. The unique pizzas are always delicious and the snack pizzas as well. The normal pizzas arent anything to be excited about.

2pm on a Sunday, should I expect a poor food selection? No traditional pizzas at all on the poorly served buffet table, all for the veggie eater. Drove 2 hours for this suppose to be amazing place, extremely disappointed.

This is a mysterious place for pizza and desserts. As mentioned on TV, there are many ways to form desserts on a fake pizza pie. Prices are fair enough, and customer service is about enough to meet the standards.

Typical pizza buffet at an OK price. We went for lunch, which only serves "normal" pizza. Creative pizza served at dinner, I cant speak to that. Lunch is similar to a CiCis Pizza, Gattitown, Chuckee Cheese etc
