Basing my experience with panda express in a busy military region of the world aka Jacksonville, NC I would have to say that this Muncie location has ruined my previous good experiences with this chain. Every time I have ate at the panda in the past it has been great fresh food that left me wanting more. I was rather excited moving back to muncie and seeing that we had a panda express I have been about 5 times now and every time I go I hope that it was just a bad day. I have come to the realization that it just sucks here. The panda set apart from other nasty Chinese food that I would previously get. The breaded food is just plain not fresh and soggy leaving a undesirable texture to the supposed crispy breaded and fried food that I once knew. The chicken breast seems like they either have someone who doesnt know how to trim the tendons and fat off to serve proper food or they just dont care. the crab Rangoon are mostly over cooked and the serve time is rather slow. I will not eat here for a while in hopes that someone will read this and fix it, I will try again sometime in the future. This place has potential to be good eats but there is just the lack of something here.

My boyfriend and I went through the drive through and ordered the two entré and 1 side plate, a side of rice and two egg rolls. The entrés were barely a cup worth (suppossed to be the main meals) while the side was over half of what we got and almost a quart of rice. The side (chow mein) as we were told would take 5 min. And to go park in the parking lot and they would bring it out to us. After ten min. My boyfriend had to go in with the receipt and request our food. The egg rolls had a burnt taste along with and overall bad flavor and were soggy (we couldnt finish them). We both got iced tea and was all ice and water with almost no tea. The drinks were very lightly tinted like tea and thats all. Their website says they have smoothies and more but I asked and they do not sell smoothies. The rest of the food tastes alright but it was a waste of $20 and our time.

Ordered a medium chow mein and a drink through the drive thru. We were asked if a five minute wait would be okay. We said yes and paid. Ten minutes later we were asked to pull out front where our order would be brought out to us. Not only were we waiting for a total of thirty minutes for a medium chow mein and a drink, but they had forgotten that we were even sitting there. We had to go in and get our order. And to top it off, no one apologized for the wait.

Been here a many times and its been decent. Today I was told to pull around and wait for my food, which is no problem at all. After 10-15 minutes passed, I went in and they had forgotten about my order. I had to wait another 5 minutes for them to cook the shrimp. When I got my food, they forgot to put my rice in with my shrimp and half veggies. Not only did I wait for 20+ minutes but the rice was left out of my bowl. At least it tasted good.
