I love Chill bar! The bartenders and people awesome, and its usually a lot of fun! I would rate it 5 stars, but right before Thanksgiving last year I was there with friends and Syimone Victoria Taylor, aka "DJ Syimone," drunkenly attacked me because she apparently thought I was too "sassy" when I told her to butt out of a conversation. Though I easily replaced the phone she destroyed to keep me from calling 911, the scars on my face are there to stay, and I wont soon forget the traumatic experience. Of course the bar could not be blamed for that, except she’s been involved with similar attacks before, they made the surveillance video unavailable, then rehired her after she was released on parole following this latest one, even though she is court ordered to have "no contact w/ place of violation." I do not feel safe in a bar with such an individual, and I am deeply disappointed that the management decided to rehire her. That employee has proven herself a threat to patrons, and I would encourage the utmost vigilance when she is around. That being said, Chill bar does have great drinks, and is an all-around fun place to be when the drunk 6’ 200lb transexual DJ with a propensity for violence isnt there ready to pounce on unsuspecting patrons.

I have always had a great experience at chill bar. The staff is very friendly , the crowd is also friendly and will talk to you . the owners have done a great job with this bar. Their drink prices are very reasonable, unlike play dance bar. Best gay bar in Louisville , highly recommended

A nice and relaxing place with a nice patio where the young and old can sit, mingle, and solve the worlds problems. Did I mention that the happy hour prices are pretty good too? The staff is also nice... Want a relaxing place to go and meet nice people - this is the place.
