My husband and I travel quite a bit and love getting Mexican, and I can say without a doubt this is the best food we have gotten! Wish this place was in our state! The guacamole was fresh n made to order and was amazing! We both had chicken fajitas and loved it! Our only complaint would be the guacamole was supposed to be an appetizer and it came w the meal. Highly recommended

The food was delicious, the staff was extremely friendly and prompt. At one point I noticed the waiters literally running across the restaurant to get chips and salsa to arriving customers. Our waiter greeted us with a "hi amigos" and addressed us as amigos the whole time we were there. Very nice, clean, and well ran restaurant all around. 5 stars!!!

Oldham County is booming with delicious Mexican food. Gustavos is good, and so is El Nopal, but this is by far the best one of them all. The food is always well prepared and succulent, and some of the menu items are distinct and creative. Overall, if you live in the Louisville Metro area or in Oldham, you owe it to yourself to try El Acapulco.

I drive a tractor trailer all over the Country so I think Im ok with critiquing.Forget that the server forget napkins and silverware everyone has a bad day.My concern is fruit flies(nats)trying to land in our food,fist time I let it pass but the second time?Ive never had this anywhere.Makes one wonder what is going on in the kitchen.

This is my all-time favorite Mexican place. They have the best salsa and irresistible Peach Margaritas of any other restaurant, from Frankfort to Louisville. My family eats here two- three times a week and they know us when we pull into the parking lot. With the Friendliest service in town, the staff has really become our friends!

Since it was just me, I sat at the bar and they had NO bartender, server that would come behind the bar and wait on me. VERY POOR SERVICE! ATTENTION YOU NEED A BARTENDER BEHIND THE BAR! the food was okay. My server and another server couldnt make a decent Rita, they depend on the pre-mixed Ritas!

People were very rude I walked in and waited to be seated And people in back of me were seated first Service was bad was not waited on for about 15 minutes People that were seated after me were waited on first and received their food first I will never go back

This restaurant is just the best. The food is wonderful and fresh, the staff are amazing and friendly and the service is top notch! Both locations (here and Newburgh, IN) are amazing. Do yourself a favor and eat at your new favorite restaurant!!!
