I absolutely loved this restaurant. The prices are nice for what you get, staff are friendly, food arrived fast and was great. My only real complaint was the salsa was a bit too spicy for me and we didnt have enough napkins. Oh, if you get something involving chips, ask for the chips on the side, its so much better and you get more, and get some extra napkins.

Sorry. I will have to stick with El Napol. Im sure most of the time LA Cocina is pretty good but tonight the chips were stale, salsa was bland and service was slow. Every place can have an off night. Tonight was theirs. Please, do not let my review stop you from trying LA Cocina as it is usually pretty good. My review is only for this visit.

Hands down, the finest Mexican Restaurant in Shelbyville. The service is always excellent, the food is consistently good and the salsa is the best in town. I highly recommend the Pollo con Chorizo. They are kid friendly and business lunch friendly. They bring exactly what you want in a Mexican restaurant.

Been eating here since they opened, several times a month. Now the food is not consistent, they dont want to hear your complaints and the owner is usually in a real bad mood which upsets the help. Ate here for the last time tonight.

Excellent food, atmosphere is okay due to being in an old building and as a result it can get very loud in the main dining room. If you dont get there early you will be waiting in line.
