If I could give this restaurant a "0" rating, I would. My daughter and her family love this establishment. I purchased a $200.00 gift certificate earlier this week as a thank you. Tonight they tried to use it to pay for their dinner. The waitress told them because it was not "signed" they could not accept it. My daughter was embarrassed. Furious and very upset. She went out to her car to get her purse. As she reentered the restaurant the owner was there to apologize and say they would accept the gift certificate. No kidding! It had been paid for earlier, so what did he think he was doing her a favor? Oh, and being the extremely "generous" owner.....he added $10.00 as a token. I will NEVER buy another gift certificate here again. The owner is a misguided business man that needs much training in customer service.

My Fiance and I went to The Rails in Lagrange one evening for a drink. The Bartender had mentioned Rikishi as a great Sushi restaurant. After about two weeks, we decided to venture out and try to celebrate a promotion and a mother to be. Overall, the service was amazing. Kenzie, our server, was very attentive and easy going. We had everything we needed while also being able to enjoy our time together. Since it was a new restaurant, we decided to try a variety of Rolls and Nigiri. The quality and taste was exceptional, better than other reputable restaurants. The Owner even came out to greet us and made sure the regulars were taken care of. Only wish is that we would have found it sooner. Well definitely go back again.

This is the best sushi my husband and I have eaten. Anywhere. We travel quite a bit and are always glad to return home to our sushi restaurant. The owner, Ned, is great and extremely interesting to talk to. Some of the rolls we love include the Derby Roll which has a little kick, the Swan Roll the has a wonderful confluence of flavors including a paper thin lime slice on top, and the Lite Roll which is riceless. Ned manages to mix textures and tastes in his rolls that subtly delight the palate without inundating you with heavy, sweat sauces. You have to try this restaurant. You wont be disappointed.

Expensive and not good. The sushi was really lacking. Raw tuna was rare as in they only had one option for it and it was on top of the roll and not inside. No yellow fin tuna either. All they had were stupid Americanized crab and shrimp rolls. Also, my food came way too early before anybody else got their food. My wifes "steak" was really tough and chewy. Not a great experience. If you want real Japanese food that is also good, go and eat somewhere else. PS: the menu is vet limited outside of poor sushi.

We travel a lot in Europe and USA and use to eat at Japanese Restaurants, but we can tell that THE BEST sushi we ever had were @ Rikishi!!! Excellent food, the menu changes regularly and the chef as well as the servers are really engaged in making great food for you to enjoy. The service is excellent also. Thank you Ned for creating this beautiful place here in Louisville.

Ive seen this restaurant many times but never stopped in - even have friends who have said give it a try. Decided to stop today because my regular spot wasnt convenient- good decision! Very friendly service, great laid back atmosphere, and fantastic sushi that we tried. Will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

You get some really massive rolls for some fairly normal sushi restaurant prices! Was pleasantly surprised when the sushi came and how much we got, we couldnt finish but brought home some delicious leftovers! Good quality sushi, clean nice establishmet, great place for dinner for sure.

Nad the owner is a super nice man, with a great way with people and most of all the sushi and all food that my wife and I have eaten there is simply delicious and so fresh. Do your self a favor and go to Rikishi for a great dining experience!!!! five star for sure.

Four tables sat down after us. Some with large parties. All ate before us. Food couldnt be enjoyed because whole table had to wait for orders to come every 10 min. Food was good but not worth the wait. I dont blame the waitress. She was nice and courteous.

Kristin recommended the Pink Floyd roll, not on the menu, and it was incredible. The Pink Floyd roll is the perfect mix of sweet, salty, and spicy. Service was amazing even in the middle of the afternoon when it wasnt too busy. Will be back again

Awesomeness! My wife and i will travel great distances for great sushi and this is the best quality for the price! We love Osaka but their rolls are tiny and expensive compared to this place. 5 Stars of Excellence!

Great Sushi place outside of 265. I love sushi. This place has great sushi. Pricing is to be expected as we arent anywhere near an ocean. Good food otherwise too. Service is standard but still 5/5

If you want bland chicken over rice with teriyaki sauce than this is the place for you. You should also watch the Deliverance movie while you wither away your sorry life and plain boring taste.

Finally, not only sushi in Crestwood, but REALLY good sushi in Crestwood. Get the Fishermans delight (if you dont like spicy let them know and theyll make it mild). Its incredible.

The food doesnt taste fresh. The rice tastes stale. The miso soup is weak. The quality of food isnt nearly as good as the other two sushi places in the area.

This is the best sushi on the East End. Hands down! It is quite off the beaten path, but its worth it. They are only open for lunch on Friday Saturday

Best sushi in Oldham county hands down. Sometimes service is a little slow when they get busy but sushi is an art and here its worth the wait.
