The food is reasonable. However, management and customer service are questionable at best. To describe a recent experience we had, we recently ordered using the web sites online ordering feature. We called to follow up and the restaraunt staff claimed they could not see the order, so we ordered over the phone instead. The next time we decided to simply order over the phone to begin with, so we logged onto the website to view the extensive menu and associated pricing. After adding up our order we called to place it and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes; we were not quoted a total price. Once we arrived to pick up the order, however, we were shocked to find that the cost was over 40 percent higher than what we were quoted on their web site. When I brought this up to the clerk, she simply dismissed the matter saying "Oh, yeah, that pricing is outdated and needs to be fixed." The total was not adjusted and we were offered no conciliatory discounts. Needless to say we are not pleased with the way these two items were handled. Unfortunately for Jasmine, there are too many other similar establishments in the area. At least for a while, I seriously doubt we will be returning for a third experience.

Best Szechuan Chinese in Louisville. Period. (If you typically order things like Sesame Chicken or Sweet And Sour Pork....then you wont like this place as that would be similar to going to KFC and trying to order a Hamburger. Its Szechuan cooking...not Cantonese, Hunan, etc.) Stick to the spicy/strong flavored dishes - and you will agree this is the best Szechuan Chinese restaurant in Louisville. And ideally: dont order it to go. Ordering it to go, allows the fried food items like Sesame chicken (which you shouldnt be ordering here anyway) to steam and become soggy. This isnt the restaurants fault. Its typical of any fried food that is gotten to go. (Who hasnt gotten a fried fish box to go from a restaurant, that didnt arrive soggy after 30 minutes?) Some excellent dishes are Black Pepper Chicken (cooked extra long so the sauce is thick), Hot & Spicy Beef (or Lobster), Spicy Little Fish, Pickle Fish, and Tea Smoked Duck. Highly recommended!

Service is horrible! Take too long to get your food. The staff is always seem to be in a bad mood everytime my husband and I went there. The bubble tea was horrible! I love bubble tea and I ordered that drink there a few times. It was super sweet the first two times I ordered and then the third time (also last time ever) it tasted like water. It seems like they never consistent with their drink mix for bubble tea. The bad thing was when I told the waitress that my bubble tea tastes like water, she doesnt apologize and she acted like I made it up. She just took it away and not even ask if I want something else to drink until I asked her for a glass of water. Just horrible service! My husband and I have been there a lot and kept giving them many chances but we are now give up and will not go to this place again.

I ordered the sesame chicken for take out and it was horrible. The breading was soggy and fell apart before I even had the chance to eat it. This was AFTER I ordered from there 2 previous times and the restaurant screwed up the orders on BOTH occasions. So this time they gave us 2 free meals to try and "make it right" for us as returning customers and the order was still horrible. There are plenty of other Chinese restaurants around town that are much better than this place. Not to mention the 2 free dinners they gave us, they only provided us with 1 rice when there should have been 2. Anything to save a dollar, right? Maybe dine in is better, however we will not waste our time or money on this place any longer. I hope this helps people.

Food was good. It had good flavor and was probably some of the best Chinese food I have had. However, the service was HORRIBLE!!! It took us a while to order since we have never been there before and the waitress told us we "need to hurry up and order." It wasnt like we were holding her up from serving other people either. She was going around to other tables while we were still trying to decide. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. The appetizer came and then the food came and we still didnt have our drinks. We had to ask the waitress for them and then she was annoyed when we asked for refills. Good food, but not worth it having to deal with the horrible service!

Went there with my husband and was surprised that the food was so greasy and poor quality. Unfortunately, the service was worse. We noticed when we were being seated, two couples sitting in a booth were upset and complaining to the server. By the time we left we were just as angry. The final thing was that the restroom was just plain dirty...always an accurate indicator of the cleanliness of their kitchen. Yuck. Will not go back. The Tea Station across the street does not have the decor or the space to dine but their quality of their food and their customer service is always great. We will stick with them.

Bad service. Something was wrong every step of the way. Forgot our drinks, forgot our appetizer, brought one persons meal out 10+ mins before the other, forgot my side item (actually tried to bring it well after I was done with my entree). There was a total of 13 people and 5 tables with 3 servers the night we went in. Is wasnt busy it seemed like they should have been able to easily handle the number of people in the restaurant at the time. And to top it off, I didnt care for the food. It lacked flavor. The chicken looked and tasted like frozen chicken nuggets. And some things were straight up burnt.

The food was average, I didnt get my appetizer until after the meal. My plates stayed piled up on my table and I never once got a refill. The server dropped my check off and left me at the table for ten minutes. My husband got up and took our 1 year old to the car while I continued to wait for the server to cash me out. When she finally cam back into the dining room, she still didnt come to my table. I was sitting by myself and had to ASK her to cash me out. Might I mention I was the ONLY person in the dining room. It was the most horrible service Ive ever had.

I lived in Sichuan Province for a few years. Jasmine is the only place Ive been to in the area that serves authentic Sichuan cuisine. Its not only authentic, its very well done. The chef used to be the chef at a very fancy hotel in Chengdu, the provincial capital. Try something different--ask them to recommend some Sichuan dishes. The flavors are wonderful. I brought my brother there 2 years ago and now he brings his 8-year old daughter there every week for some of the flavorful Sichuan specialties. The staff is great and the food is wonderful.

I really liked Jasmines the first couple of visits but on my last visit it just wasnt the same. Even though I got the same dish it tasted completely different. Its as if they are trying too hard to make it flavorful. Instead the dishes become over powering. Maybe its just because I really dislike ginger and they pack everything with chunks of ginger. Ill try to ask for no ginger next time I go and see if that helps.
