My co-workers and I went here yesterday to celebrate my birthday lunch and it was absolutely horrible. The server did not write down our orders and 5 of our 7 orders came out wrong...after 45 minutes. One of my co-workers had to leave during the meal because she couldnt wait any longer for her food to be re-cooked. The soda was flat. I was told that they fixed it and was served a new glass of the exact same tasting soda. Another person ordered a pizza hoagie and they served it without the marinara sauce. When asked for a side of the sauce, it came out cold and smelled rancid. Four different people tried the sauce and stated that it was either spoiled or someone added something to it (smelled like acid) before it was served to us. The owner came to the table by request and never apologized for anything. When he tried the sauce he said that the sauce always tasted like that. Apparently, it was supposed to taste rancid and smell of acid. Do not eat at this place! Customer service is awful. Hopefully the health dept. goes there soon!

I also work in the office building behind Zazou. After calling 4 times in a row and getting dropped to a full voicemail box, I finally succeeded in getting someone to answer the phone for my lunch carryout order. She asked me to hold on a moment and then proceed to either set the phone down or carry it around the building for six or seven minutes. No wonder I couldnt get through previously! If they have more business than they can take care of during the day, this is surely the way to cut that back. When I have managed to get someone to actually *take* my order, theyre frequently out of menu items. Some things on the menu arent even offered any more. I will say that they have pretty spectacular spinach and artichoke dip, which is the only reason they got a second star out of me.

Ordered one of their specials, hamburger/Fries, the burger was excellent, fries were hot. Waitress was very friendly, this place reminded me of Cheers where everyone seemed to know your name, without the trendy decor. At 1st glance you would think this place was a dive, but I think it may very well be one of the best kept secrets in Covington. Try it for lunch, I will return again. I hear it gets very busy in the evenings.

Love their lunch specials.... Cheese Burgers, Pizza, Philly Cheese Steak, Lamb Burgers, even their salads. Its not smoky during the day and the staff is always helpful and friendly. They have a Golden Tee machine which is only $3.50. Occasionally Ill stop in after work and grab a brewski. Great Happy-Hour prices. Karaoke was on Tuesday night.... Had a blast. Can’t wait to go again.

This place has amazing food! They even have daily food specials that are hands down the best food I have ever had! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. Everyone seems to know everyone almost like "Cheers". The bartenders are very friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best kept secrets in town!

I work in the office building behind Zazou and have had a carry out lunch from there twice. The first time I had a hamburger that was way overcooked. The second time I had a turkey sandwich and the turkey was spoiled. Its pretty clear to me that the management isnt concerned with the quality of the food.

Know most of the people who work there. Great atmosphere no matter when you go. Just an awesome little neighborhood bar/club. Cool female bartenders too. And all of them are very easy on the eyes. Love this spot.
