After a long afternoon of biking, the hubs and I stopped in here with the intentions of getting "the best burger" in Lexington as one previous reviewer had said. Well, that reviewer was pretty darn accurate! The burgers were delicious (as were the sweet potato fries with homemade honey butter sauce)! Be forewarned that the wait can be quite a while because everything is cooked fresh. But it is totally worth the wait. Well definitely be going again! Also, although we didnt order any drinks, it looked like the had a pretty extensive collection of beverages.

I absolutely love this place and Limestone Blue!!! The wait staff here are super friendly and attentive! Love the atmosphere also! This arguably has the best hamburgers of anywhere in Lexington. The side salad is huge! My only complaints are that we cant order chicken sandwiches unless it is a special during lunch and the wait time! However, the taste of the food definitely overrides long wait times at lunch! Thanks guys, I always come back!

I was a little concerned when we walked up and saw the small kitchen behind the bar... But I must say, this was some of the best bar food Ive ever had! Great personalities working behind the bar and a great time had by all! I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lexington for a great, relaxed atmosphere and some outstanding food!!!!!

I love EVERYTHING about the Sidebar. The people who own it are interesting, friendly & appreciative of their customers. There is always a wonderful, eclectic mix of patrons; lawyers, judges, artists, musicians, hipsters and ordinary folk of all ages. The fries cant be beat. Authentic Lexington!

I had the sidebar which is a flat iron steak with herb butter and it was delicious. My family all enjoyed their food also. They have underpants for sale with the name of the place on the butt... Awful tempting but my kids said no.
