I went in at about 2:30pm, wasnt greeted by the wait staff that was sitting with the one other table in the whole cafe, got my own menu, ordered from the server, she stood around not making our smoothie while my 21 month old played with the sugar packets on the table. Came by and muttered under her breath that those were expensive and she was taking those and snatched them away from my son who was NOT mouthing them. We were offered nothing in there place so my options were to .let him wander the cafe or make him sit in his seat and have a melt down. He naturally found more packets to look at- he lines them up and looks at the pictures. The waitress comes back over and proceeds to lecture me and ask how I would feel if kids put my sugar packets in their mouths. I said get me a new waitress or I am leaving and please box my food up. I talk to the owner or manager who comes out and proceeds to repeat a shortened version of what the waitress said. THEN offers coloring pages and crayons that I didnt know they had. No problem, I will never come back. Also, we paid $14 for basically 2 tiny fish pieces and a whole box of chips. It is a rip off.

I work right around the corner from here and order in lunch from here about twice a week. Im vegetarian and health-conscious so this is one of my only options in Old Town. Every entree Ive had here is amazing - most notably the Triple B burger, the Big D sandwich (sub avocado), and the soba noodle dish! My main qualms with this restaurant is that I never know what to expect. There is little consistency in the portion sizes and how the dishes are prepared. Also, I think that a restaurant that advertises as health-conscious should have nutrition info for all of their dishes readily available. Both of these are easy fixes and I hope they do something to fix these!

The facility was welcoming, the food was fresh and flavorful. The Lotus team was very patient with us and a new menu. Being vegetarians traveling from Kansas City, it was very comforting to have a place to go that speaks the language. One of the team helped a young couple (very naturally I might add) with their unhappy baby. It was one of best restaurant experiences weve ever had. We took vegan, gluten free chocolate hazelnut cheesecake to go. I only allowed myself half so I could the heavenly joy surrounding my tongue tomorrow. Lotus Leaf Café is definitely on our Wichita map

Ive been here a few years back and recently just re-visited again. With my husband being a meat eater, me being vegan and my son a vegetarian, its always difficult to find somewhere to eat. Lotus Leaf definitely meets all our needs! I am happy that things are actually labeled "V" for vegan so I know which ones I can have. And my husband says the turkey sandwich was really good and my son loved the grilled swiss cheese. I had the black bean/quinoa burger and it was delish! With all our "unique" diets it is nice to go out and enjoy the whole meal overall.

Was very hesitant to try. Im not vegan or even vegetarian. SO glad I did! Hands down THE best meal I had all week in Wichita. I had the black Betty salad. They have to fibd a better way to describe their food to fully capture how amazing their food is. I dont write reviews and no one asked me to, but I couldnt not comment on this place. My meal was only $10.00. I figured worse case, Id grab a burger somewhere else if I didnt like it. No need for that. Aye every drop on my plate!

Love this healthy food option in Oldtown! They have GF/Vegan options and all of the dishes Ive had have been fresh, tasty, and just the right amount. Ive heard others complain about portion sizes who are used to eating more, and the pricing -- but I think the pricing makes sense for the quality of food. The service has always been very friendly and the inside decor has an earthy/happy vibe. Their smoothies are also very tasty (albeit a little pricey).

Lotus Leaf is one of the few restaurants in Wichita that caters to not only vegetarian and vegan consumers, but also to those that want locally sourced, non-GMO, and organic foods. With outstanding house-made salad dressings, and exquisite made-from-scratch vegan deserts, you will be wondering why it took you so long to discover the Lotus Leaf Cafe.

Im eating the Antipasto salad. I think I hear angels. And the cheesecake, OMG. Are you ready for this? Its tofu. Unbelievable. We always order the cheesecake first when we go there, because, well, you never know when a Sharknado might arrive. My one quibble? That patio. Rip out a few parking spots, put in some landscaping, OK? Thanks. :-)

I love this place! They are so friendly & the food is to die for! Its nice to have a vegetarian option, as there are not many in Wichita. I have never been disappointed with the food, and its such a cute little "hole in the wall" type of place. Im really glad I stumbled across Lotus Leaf Cafe. Bring your family and friends. ;-)

Love the Sweet Potato Chips! They always have something new to try on the list of desserts and daily specials. The menu also includes child-friendly options plus a variety of hot teas and smoothies. Im not a vegan or a vegetarian and I love going here for lunch. The location is convenient and parking is easy. Go check it out!

Awesome food!! Very clean and flavors work well together.. our server was a girl named Merissa and she was very patient and tolerant with me and my friends (who were a little too verbal about things they didnt like)..and listened to all our questions about the menu ! she was so kind despite all of that :-)

Every time I eat at this wonderful place, I fall in love with a new dish. I have yet to have anything even average tasting, its all insanely delicious. The staff is really friendly, the atmosphere is nice and they have plenty of vegetarian/vegan options and accommodations. I love this restaurant!

The food was pretty good, but really expensive. The service was absolutely atrocious. We could have left and the staff would have never noticed. We had to call them over constantly and despite being one of two group of patrons in the store, we were never given attention.

You wont usually find me in a place like this but Lotus Lead was a fantastic, healthy change of pace from the burgers and fries in the rest of Wichita. And although they were probably the least healthy part of the meal, the sweet potato chips were amazing!

Amazing! The crepe and salad I had were delicious, and my husband enjoyed his turkey sandwich. Incredibly nice staff! Looking forward to eating there again! Super cute and cozy. And in a great neighborhood that is fun to walk around and shop/browse.

Overall it was ok. Added chicken to my dish and it was $5.50 for basically a tenderloin not even a breast. Not a fan of that. Pumpkin hummus app was good but wouldnt do the other dishes we had. Nice to try but wouldnt go back for the price.

Took my husband here for lunch one day, craving something light and new. So glad we went! Loved the iced Chai I started with and the hummus appetizer we shared. Their extensive selection of both vegan and healthy meals was very impressive.
