As far as the pho goes, if youve ever had pho hot which was located on rock road then this is the same pho. I really enjoy the flavor their broth has but I cannot tolerate the MSG. This is the only menu item i have had at lemongrass so I cant really comment on anything else. Service was decent and the staff seems to be friendly but not super knowledgeable about the menu. I asked if one of the menu items was similar to bun and he did not know what I was talking about (the menu items arent called their traditional Vietnamese names). Wait times seemed a little long. Ill give it an average rating.

For the price, I was expecting some exceptional Vietnamese food, but the experience was underwhelming. I had the catfish which was ok, if a bit dry. However, my friend ordered the vegetarian pho which was unbelievably bland. The "broth" had absolutely no flavor and required a significant amount of soy and salt to make it remotely palatable. I was also slightly put off by the fact that there were options for Cajun food and fries. You can find more authentic Vietnamese experiences at any other pho place across town. I dont recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

Im in town for work, staying nearby. The first night, I followed my nose to Lemongrass. Ive eaten there 2 nights in a row. Danny, the owner and chef, has created an amazing fusion of Vietnamese, Cajun, and American cuisine. So far Ive tried the Vermicelli Super Bowl and the Pork Chops. I couldnt pick a favorite. The pork, though not traditional American, is thin sliced and seasoned perfectly. Alexis is an amazing server. There are choices to accommodate the adventurous, the less so, and even vegetarians. Danny comes out and visits the tables some nights.

Finally, I was able to return to Wichita. Ive been thinking about Lemongrass for a week! I love the fusion of different cultures here. The food is amazing. Today I had rocket rolls and the Crab Cake Po Boy. Just an amazing combination of flavors. The wait staff is friendly and prompt. You honestly cant find a better guy than the owner, Danny. Sit and listen for a while. He has a great story, and his passion for food and customer service comes through not only in the meals he prepares, but in the conversation as well. I stop here every chance I get.

My fiance was craving Vietnamese food and this was close to the theatre so we decided to give it a try. We liked the environment and the setup. We both got the special Pho which tasted like traditional Vietnamese Pho. The only complaint is that we had fatty pieces of meat in the pho which we hadnt encountered in other Vietnamese restaurants. I wasnt too big of a fan of the calamari which is always hit or miss at restaurants. I just felt like it was over cooked slightly. All in all the experience was good and the service was good.

When Im in the mood for Vietnamese food, I usually go to Saigon on Broadway. So, when I saw that a Vietnamese restaurant had opened in Old Town, I had to try it. Compared to Saigon, Lemongrass is more expensive and its slower. Saigon has better flavor. Lemongrass has better ambiance and a better location. I really wanted to like Lemongrass. Im disappointed that I didnt enjoy it more. I might go back to Lemongrass, but I will usually go to Saigon for my Vietnamese-food cravings.

I ordered some crawfish to go and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later, my food was not ready. Other guests arrived 30 minutes after I had ordered. They ordered the same exact thing and promptly received their food in 15 minutes. All and all it took an hour to get my food. I would not suggest dining here if you value your time. The only reason that this is not a 1 star review is because the food is actually good, although incredibly over priced.

You have to try the Shaky Tofu, it is amazing!! Throw out all of what you thought you knew about tofu and give it a try. The calamari is also very delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner seemed to really care about his customers and he regularly makes his way around asking guests how they have enjoyed their meals. We will keep going as long as they are open and we always tell our friends about it.

Well I got there 7:30. Everyone else came at 9ish maybe? But I waited 2 hours for nothing!! Everyone got their foods and I got nothing in the time I was there. Poor service and it was my first time there so I was very really disappointed. I hated the way they treated my family and I. I dont think Ill ever go again because my family went there before me and the same thing happened to them.

Awesome fresh vegetarian pho! Loved the clay pot salmon and the vegetarian Buddha bowl. (The marinated tofu is really special-youll swear its beef!) Egg rolls are crisp but not greasy. I recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee in place of or with the fried bananas or strawberry cake. Relaxing atmosphere, good service and a good size patio as well. Will definitely be back!

Mediocre, we came here because our normal Pho destination was closed for the week and we were very underwhelmed. No depth in the broth, the coffee was over extracted, the Thai tea was just bad. The place looks nice, but they need to focus on bringing out the amazing flavors that should be in a good Pho broth.

The staff were quite good, attentive but not overly so. The food was fantastic Poboy and noodle dishes. The ambiance is inviting and open allowing for great conversations. The location is good but bear in mind that its not the typical store front facing the square so youll have to look down the alley a bit.

This place is amazing. Some of the best pho Ive ever had. The wow wow shrimp appetizer is delicious. Not very spicy, but well-balanced flavor. The atmosphere is very classy. They were even playing good music (Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong). I will be coming back. Frequently.

Fantastic nice restaurant. Cloth napkins nice. Not at all anything like any other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Very nice. Only complaint is that the PHO only comes in one size. Which is the same as large as everywhere else. Which is too much for me.

Was sad when Pho Hot closed down, but really happy when someone told me this was opened by the same owner. I was beyond surprised. Nothing like Pho Hot. Upscale Vietnamese food with some French additions to the menu too. I look forward to going back soon.

Excellent food! We are always looking for more vegan options. They have Vegan and vegetarian options. I had the Buddha bowl and ice tea. The ingredients are fresh and the vegetable sauce gives a wonderful flavor. We will definately be back.

Unfortunately the pho broth wasnt hot enough to cook the noodles and our waitress was slow. They dont offer some of their menu options to go for those who are busy with errands over lunch.

Bland, overpriced American-style Asian food. Waiters kept spraying cleaning solution on the tables next to us to clean tables, it was awful while trying to eat. Never going again

Great place to try something new. Service is great, friendly and always checking on your needs. The food is delicious and portions are well balanced on the bigger side.
