Just go to Charlstons. You get more food and it is way better. The drinks completely suck like there is no liquor in them. When you try and send things back they treat you like youre a freaking leper. It was very frustrating and the bill was too high for having a piece of salmon and A side of vegetables. If you want to salad its two dollars extra. Their appetizers suck and it is really overpriced. Go somewhere else because you will have a better experience based on the quality and The customer service. They arent even open during certain hours which is ridiculous and its not even posted on Google. We showed up the day of my birthday and it was closed. Do not order drinks here. There is zero alcohol in them and Im not even a drinker. I just wanted one to set the tone for my birthday celebration. I had to ask them for another shot unless I ordered a martini.. which is not even include it on the menu. The salmon was not even cooked all the way and not even a big piece of salmon for the price youre paying. I was honestly very discouraged and the staff was rude when I wanted them to make things better. The mushrooms are disgusting.. it was like gravy in there with very little mushrooms. They should be made and burgundy sauce which is a light sauce. Not disgusting gravy . just go to Charlstons. They were way better selection and they will give you more food for your dollar. I was very disappointed especially because I went here for my birthday. At the end of the day even after they took money off for the horrible drinks I paid over $100 with the tip.

Today I decided to try the Redrock Canyon Grill for the first time with my mom and baby cousin. We were the second group to enter the Restaurant and it took our waitress 15 minutes to come take our order after we were not prepared to order the second we were seated. It took me raising my voice to the very snooty hostess after she blantly ignored me twice to get our waitress. Several other tables had already gotten their food long before we even ordered. The waitress was exceptionally rude when answering questions about the so called kids menu. I dont care if you dont cater to children, post a sign up or have your hostesses tell customers with kids you dont cater to them and save them the annoyance of realizing there is nothing for a 13 month old to eat. When our food finally arrived the waitress made a very snarky comment directed at my mothers weight and the amount of fries there were, when my mom touched the fries testing to see if they were to hot for my cousin to eat. I will never go back and my review is going up everywhere, Im not even going to mention how the manager made it a point to talk to the tables around us but avoided us all together all because we had a child with us.

Went to newest Red Rock Canyon Grill. The name suggested peace, calm and beauty. The restaurant inside and out was beautiful. The noise level was deafening with all the people trying to talk over the loud music. The food took a very long 30 minutes to arrive. When the appetizers arrived they were all spicy from the jalapeño pepper in them. The Calamari was excellent. I tried to tackle the "chophouse" salad which amounted to about a head of iceberg lettuce with some small tortilla strips, corn tomatoes and large hunks of chicken with a chunky chipotle ranch and barbecue dressing. I expected more from this establishment. Chop the salad smaller use a better grade of lettuce or mixed greens, use grape tomatoes, shave the chicken breast, show the tortilla strips on top of the salad, this would then be a $15 salad The servers gathered at the back of the restaurant so it was a task to get to the bathroom. Dessert was pineapple upside down cake while it tasted very good where were the cherries? Just one on top would have made this great. Probably would not suggest this restaurant unless you were just having drinks and/or dessert outside on the patio looking at the water or listening to the music.

My family and I decided to try the newest restaurant in Norman to celebrate an event. We expected it to be busy although it wasnt quite the rush hour. There were four of us.The hostess told us it would be about 5 to 10 minutes before we would be seated and I would receive a text when the table was ready. 30 minutes passed and no text. When we approached the hostess about the table, she looked at her tablet then started talking to the other employees standing there and never gave an answer. Yet, while we were standing there, three other people came in and she told them that there was a table available. WE LEFT. I then received a text from NOWAIT to download the app. I did just out of curiosity to see if my table was ready. NOPE! I understand that mistakes can be made, but at least a restaurant should train their employees in service recovery and not the attitude to blow the customer off. And guess what, its 12 hours later and still no text!

I decided to take my wife to this place. When we arrived 8:00 pm Black Friday the place was not crowded. The atmosphere was pleasing. We were seated in the patio with a view of the lake fountain. The fountain colors were turned off no fault of Red Rocks Im sure. I did have great hopes of my wife seeing the fountain lights. First we got the trout dip It was OK but bland, it comes with toast. My wife had the enchiladas, and I had the grouper. The menu is minimal, and the little selection is over priced. The music was pleasantly romantic but a little loud. 55.46 for 2 people, too high for Norman, and the food was mediocre the wife says. Best yet take the drive to OKC. A better food selection. I should have gone to Charlstons. I read the reviews and I am a little spectacle about some of these reviews. Chuck.

I was extremely disappointed in Red Rock Canyon Grill after my experience there Friday night. I called the night before to see if they made reservations; they did not. My party showed up at 6:15. We were told there would be a 30 to 35 minute wait. An hour and 10 minutes later we were still waiting for a table. If they had told me that the wait would be so long, I would have weighed the options of leaving or waiting. When we were finally shown a table, the young lady who appeared to be the manager came by our table and told us she was sorry the wait was so long, but they were very busy tonight. She didnt offer to comp us a drink and appetizer or anything. We were apparently just supposed to forgive her for her poor management skills. Extremely disappointing. I will not return.

Food was very good. Was very busy and kinda loud, Not what I would recommend for a quiet romantic dinner .The staff was friendly and our waitress was very nice, even though she did forget my drink ! There were two of us and it cost $73 for two meals and one mixed drink so kinda expensive. But still a pleasant experience overall! Not sure if I would go back just because of the price but absolutely no complaints with the food, its just there are other nice places I could take my wife to eat that would be cheaper. But we did enjoy it. Especially the "something chocolate " dessert, it was amazing!
