Initially I heard really good things about their sandwiches but my first visit will be my last. I hope the owners and manger reads this so they can focus on improvements. 1. I may have been just a bad day, but the entire line of orders got all confused. When I made it to the front to add toppings and pay, my friend with me didnt get his sandwich. They had to make it right then and there. 2. When they gave us the sandwich, it was not a Big as he had ordered, twice. They had to remake it. 3. If we werent paying attention they would have did it wrong a third time. We heard them go tell the sandwich makers "meatball".... 4. I grabbed a bottle of water, which cost $1.30, but there was no place to sit with multiple people standing around waiting for tables, so we went back to work. I have free water here... 5. I ordered the recommended, "The Wreck", with bacon and mushrooms as extra. The sandwich is tasteless, except for the bacon. Unfortunately its just another sandwich place, there is already three right in this area, but it was a poor experience and I worry that this place isnt going to make it since nothing stood out. Not worth the price or the hassle. *Edit* I forgot to mention we were there 30 minutes before leaving to eat our food.*

I have no idea what these other reviews are referring to as far as horrible service, I guess they just got that one person that really was just having a horrible day. I can honestly say that I have never had a more friendly or helpful person taking my order, anywhere. The food was great, and the service was amazing. The manager came over once to ask how everything was, and another time to ask if we needed anything. We will absolutely be back!

*Thank you for addressing my situation and providing a win-win outcome. My initial complaint is below*. Every time weve catered with them, they have either been 30 minutes early or thirty minutes late. Today they were almost an hour late. Therefore, my CEO, VP, Manager, and other colleagues were left to wait for lunch, for an hour. Not good. They have great salads and cookies, but I would not recommend their catering services.

We visited the potbelly shop today for the 1st time ever. It was ok not my favorite sandwich shop of all time. The soda tasted like just syrup barely any carbonation to the soda the machine. The food was decent. But not for the price. The place could use more choices of topping for the sandwiches. Could also have more choices of chips to choose from.

The Italian was delicious. Staff was friendly at first I wasnt sure I was going to like the shop but it was better than expected. Some subs are toasted (like the italian), and they have a "light" menu. Not sure how exact the light description is, though.

The food is alright, nothing to write home about. Its very much like Quiznos. The service was incompetent and slow, it was far too hot, and there were 5 bags of trash piled by the main door. I wont be coming again.

The regular sandwich is small and expensive. I paid $9 for a small sandwich and regular drink. Ingot then Italian and it was pretty tasteless even with the addition of the Italian spices. I will not be going back.

Great people, very professional and friendly. Have been dropping by a few times a week since March, have not had a bad experience yet. I pretty much only order the grilled chicken and swiss with avacado.

Love that I can get these subs in KC now. A Chicago comfort food. I love the Mediterranean with chicken. Great food and despite the reviews of bad service a while ago, my family had a great experience!

Hot peppers, extras, and that oh-so-familiar wrapping paper on every sandwich. I used to frequent Potbelly when I lived in Chicago and Im glad its here in KC. Seriously - get the hot peppers.
