Not what it used to be. This used to be a good sandwich shop. The last couple of times Ive been there the service is slow and rude, and the sandwiches are bad. The bread was soggy. I waited 20 minutes for a sandwich and when I questioned the staff they found my sandwich sitting on the counter because it didnt have a number assigned to it. The manager wouldnt remake the sandwich and offered the old sandwich (which was so bad I couldnt eat it) and my money back. There are 6 other sandwich shops within a mile of this place. Looks like those other shops just got a new customer!

I was really disappointed. Seems like this place is not what I used to like so much. The staff looked dirty and gross, and were not pleasant. I used the restroom and it had deep set stains, the tile grout was gross -looking, like it hadnt been well cleaned for months. The dinning area was messy and the food was below average, not very much other than the bread. For a little over $7 for a half sub and cookie I would rather go some place else. Looks like bad management to me. Hope they get it fixed not going to be going back anytime soon.

Bring the beer back! This was one of my favorite places to eat and grab a cold one between or after class at UMKC. Food is still great and service is still awesome though!

They now have full size gluten free bread! 9 years ago Planet Sub was one of my favorites and I was quite sad that I had to stop eating there. Now its a favorite again!
