My family eats here often, as it is one of our favorite restaurants. I have never, ever seen a roach here, and while the food may be bland (some of it is), enough has seasoning to have a great meal. I have never had bad service, everyone has been kind and patient with us. On one occasion, we had just sat down to dinner after filling our plates when my son called because he had just had a car accident. They gave us take out boxes and urged us to not worry about extra charges, were very considerate. The teriyaki is dry, but I have never had slimy anything here (that wasnt meant to be slimy, lol). All in all, decent food for a decent price, and they are always great to their guests.

I have never been more teased in my life. I pull up to the restaurant, and it smelled amazing. Went inside, & gathered my first plate excited. Immediately after my first bite, I was disappointed. I feel like I took a bite of nothing but air. The food literally tasted like disapproval. I do NOT RECOMMEND eating here. To their defense, its just a buffet , so you cant expect a 5 star restaurant. But honestly, it smelled like they had Chinese food candles lit. And cooked everything with water and grease. But hey, they did one thing great. They got me my beverage lighting fast. So all in all, if you are parched and want a quick 2.50 cup of soda, come on down to Family Buffet!

Decent entrees and buffet fare. Pretty typical choices. They have sushi, peel and eat shrimp, and battered fried shrimp. I dont understand why some are complaining about flavor. The spicy foods are plenty spicy, and everything seems seasoned well. All the choices that are served hot, are covered. They have a pretty clean environment, and the service is prompt. Prices are pretty typical as well. Not too bad at all, really. I drive a truck, parked next door, so its pretty handy. I have had much worse on the road.

My son and I eat lunch here a lot. We have never had food poisoning, so I have to wonder about all the reviews that mention it? Staff is friendly but not pushy, quick to refill drinks and take away used dishes. Selection is pretty good, with a few items that are not Chinese so more people can find something they will like. The place has always been clean when I have been there (5 or 6 times in the last 12 months) but we always go at lunch. Maybe supper is different? I would need to see that to believe it, though.

Decent Grub. Im a trucker, and this place is conveniently located 300 feet from the truck stop. This is not some fancy Trump named restaurant, just a good place to stuff yourself for less than 10 bucks. Everything I had tasted good, bathrooms were a lil run down with graffiti on the walls, but Ive been to worse places. You cant get better for the money. I will stop again, if I go through Junction City again. The lady at the register was very nice.

We arrived just before noon and nearly all of the items were empty or close to it. What food was on the buffet was flat out disgusting. And well beyond overpriced, especially since the buffet was barren. There was a sign saying they were voted best buffet in Flint hills. Only way I can believe this is if they are the only buffet. And even if they were the only restaurant in town, my family most certainly will never return.

For a Asian style buffet restaurant this is my top pick for the area, much better than either of the buffet choices in Manhattan. They have a lot of choices, and its always been hot and fresh in my experiences. I prefer their dishes and sauces over the take out places. The building is an old Shoneys (if you are old enough to remember those) they have added an Asian flare to it, it is a bit dated, but they keep it clean.

We have been on the road for quete sometime and was pretty hungry so I thought taco bell(barf) or family buffet. So I thought I give the family buffet a try.. Every thing was old . had no taste or was just Ewwww it is the best word to explain the food. Even the desserts my step daughter spit out. It was 30.00 for 2 adults 1 child with all of us having water. I would save your time and your money.

Absolutely hated that place. I honestly am wondering how is this place still open. I love chines food but after eating there I am now questioning that. I want to give minus ten stars but I guess that isnt an option. So I guess if you want to scrub your tongue out after eating and take a bath after sitting on the seats and definitely waste your money go there or buy crack its about the same

The waiter was awesome, but the food wasnt. A very nasty place all together! I dont underdtand how they can be so dirty and allowed to stay open. There was baby roaches in the ice creme freezer and when we showed them, it was no big deal. The lady just wiped them off of the ledge, over the open ice creme buckets. Very very nasty place!

We love this buffet. Right next to the truckstop;doesnt look to inviting from outside. But the food is great. It is fresh and many many entrees to choose from. Salad bars, soups,chinese, pizza,ham appetizers,ice cream, etc. The staff is attentive; fill drinks and takes plates away. Overall wonderful! Just needs a bit of a makeover.

The foods not terrible... Its about what youd expect from an all you can eat Chinese buffet. The service is quick. They seem to always run low on food. Id give it a higher rating but they stole my hat from my chair when I was getting food. I eat here regularly, I just take so my items with me when I go up.

This place is okay, my husband loved it. They have okay food, nothing, amazingly good. Really quick to clean your table when you get up for 2nds. Nice ppl, would go back. Oh, and we almost hurt ourselves 3 Times bc the booth seats are not bolted. As you slide in or out, they move too.

Zero flavor, there was no real variety with the food. Took a bite of the chicken and it was like I was eating air, all bread no chicken. Veggies and rice was not fully cooked, Staff was extremely rude. Over priced. Definitely will not eat there again.

Staff are polite and friendly, refill your drinks and take away used plates attentively. But the overall atmosphere is grungy/sticky. It does not feel comfortable or clean, and bathrooms were the same. Food tasted like a typical buffet place would.

Seated by a woman on her cell phone. Meatballs had slimy stuff in between each one on a stick. All of the food on the bar seemed to have been cooked yesterday or the day before. The teriyaki chicken was dried out and discolored. Gross!!

Actually its closer to 3.5 or 4stars. I think the food is a bit better than OK. Problem is I think it sits a bit long ! When they keep it fresh its actually pretty good. All the children I tried was good! Loved the soup and desert as well
