Just got back to Iowa city from Chicago me and a friend stopped by in the afternoon they had 1 customer at the bar and a couple of people playing pool. We ordered drinks my friend ordered a double vodka and cranberry and i GOT My regular Rum and coke and a shot of captain. first she had a drink of hers she could not taste the alcohol and I tasted it and seemed like str8 cranberry then I had my shot of captain room temperature it was flat and very week tasted more like run and water rum and coke tasted no rum and the coke was flat . No doubt in my mind they water there liquer down in the bottle they are up to something crooked I know my alcohol especially captain

Have a huge discrepency relying to the "dress code." I do realize each institution is absolutely able to refuse service to whomever they please, but Althetic pants? Please, are you serious? Considering every offensive or too-revealing outfit that anyone can wear, Brothers discriminations against gym shorts. Better yet when plenty of yoga pants and sweat pants are present in the bar. The service is spotty even when dressed appropriately, so it is mind boggling that they refuse my money. Oh well, one star and on to the next.

Met my expectations. Cheap drinks, and its a decent fight to get to the bartender. All part of the experience though right? Nice enough to give you water if you know how to ask nicely though. Plenty of space. Music is a little funky. More of a hang out spot.

nice bar in dowtown iowa city area...I only tried their drinks not their food...I had Moscow mule, long island...the drinks are good and not expensive...it is always crowded on Fridays and Saturdays...Service is excellent...I love it!!!

Good place for drinks on a Friday night. Particularly in the summer when you can sit and enjoy the outdoor seating. Tasty wings, good beer and well drinks. Apparently they need to hold your drivers license which is a bit weird.

So I was charged 3.01$ for a drink--after having tipped this bartender twice, I felt no inclination to tip a third time--but my bank statement says I was charged 6.01$; manipulating tip amount on receipts is not cool.

COLLEGE!!! Great drink prices and atmosphere for an out of towner like me and removed from college circa 2008. Brings you back to cheap drinks and wet floors and OTPHJs all over the dance floor

Typical college town bar, cheap drinks and cheap food and a bunch of drunk kids. I think on Wednesdays they have really cheap wings, so expect really long lines for food on that day.

The atmosphere and service definitely shows that this is a bar that hardly has their kitchen open. The food is mediocre and the wait is too long to walk away with a great experience.
