Completely disgusting food. This place is trashed I should have went to Taco Bell and fed homeless people for the $25 I spent. I got the chicken fajitas with steak mixed in and chicken nachos Supreme both had about one ice cream scoop full of meat soupy beans and everything mixed with my soggy lettuce. I really do hope a manager or somebody of value from this place contact me so I can explain to them how they cannot serve food like that to the public. Maybe they serve good drinks maybe they dont Im not quite sure I didnt make it that far but I will not ever go there for a drink. The service was very well qualified and nice at the host stand. I have nothing against the way the people are there they are very kind and very considerate but the food was just such trash that they should be embarrassed about this. The fact that they are still around is a miracle its probably why I grew up in this area and Ive never heard of them so embarrassing for them to have somebody that never has written a review about a place in this area that had any negative impact on anybody but I am trying to save you guys the hardships that I had to go through to string my weekend and its true my life and the concept I believe it based on such trash food

Weve been to 5 locations. Apparently they have different owners, menus and food. I hace not been impressed with the other locations. Crystal is ok. Burnsville is HORRIBLE! Worst tacos ever! This location is the best. My wife is mexican and hates tex-mex and so do I. Too many places placating to Americans take on mexican food. This place is amazing. Great prices, large portions, big margaritas and pina coladas for $10. The food is top notch and this is coming from people who go to Mexico and know the difference. I would say this is my favorite in the Twin Cities.

My family has gone to El Loros for over 13 years now. We went to El Loros in Coon Rapids on Hanson Blvd for 12 of those years. We also have gone to El Toro in Robbinsdale! We twere so excited and talked up El Lorso, so when the El Loro on Lyndale opened, we tried there several times and all three times were very sadly disappointed! We are so happy that there is the new El Loros on American Blvd in Bloomington. We make El Loros Grill and Cantina- Bloomington a weekly stop! Keep up the great work.... PS bring in some habaneros please!

Very delicious food! I was a little disappointed with the waiter, as he was incredibly short with me, and I made the effort to be polite. When clearing our plates, he seemed incredibly rushed and a knife dropped off the plate as he pulled it away, which fell about a foot down to the table and poof, he was off. It wasnt bad service, but I felt like I was a bit of a burden to be there. Anyway the chips are yummy, and the rice was delicious! I will return, and hopefully there will be a bit more kind service.

Great service and food. The manager Samuel was awesome. He has a great personality and made us feel welcome. I think this will be a regular place to eat for us. I love this place! Ezra mash is obviously an idiot, if you had bad food or service why not say something? Ive only had one issue there and I did not say anything until after I paid my tab. The manager ended up reverseing the change after I left without me knowing. That place rocks! Issue was simply the wrong order. Not a big deal at all.

Good food. However, HORRIBLE SERVICE. My cousin didnt like her meal.. the waiter shrugged his shoulders and said " idk". He then pointed at my aunt and said " yours is the same". We then tried to explain they are different people and have different taste preferences. When we asked for the manager he " wasnt in" . Another server came to our table and offered us a new meal... we declined. I will not be returning.

The Beans and lettuce both tasted like the cook spilled cleaner in them and feared that I would get food poisoning. Our table of 10 all agreed and we mentioned it to them 3 times. The waiter came back and said "we had everyone in the kitchen taste the beans and they said they tasted fine." And still made us all pay full price. Never stepping foot back in this place again. Horrible experience and crap food.

Just finished eating there. Its really hard to make Mexican food taste that awful. The service was Awesome. The food was HORRIBLE! It hurts to even write this review because I have to remember that food all over again. The rice was decent, the main course was horrible as was the salsa. The water was good :) Stay away unless you value service over food quality.

Okay food but poor service. Took 20 minutes to get water despite the place being 2/3s empty. Rafael upcharged "top shelf" for liquor in drinks despite not even asking "blended, rocks, etc.". Then had to argue with him that I had NOT ordered another beer. Fare average / service a total DUD. Will not return / other Loro locations much better experiences!

The servers were obviously racist.I am the least person to pull the race card,but the way they treated my friend and I there was disrespectful. We were seated on a dirty table. They took forever to take our command. Its just like we didnt exist at all and they were not busy. I hated every bits of it. Food taste like grease and oil. Pff 31 dollars wasted

The is not a horrible place. By let us say their service isnt the best. Their hospitality is ok. The good things now: prices are reasonable, beer selection is good enough for a group hangout. The patio is nice during the summer. The sunset can be viewed nicely! My left level stars s mainly fr the hospitality and service.

Maybe a 3 star place only because i havent tried more on the menu but the food was very bland tasting and the salsa reminded me of spaghetti sauce with cilantro added and the "other" chip sauce was like dipping chips into miricle whip.. VERY great service though. Nice atmosphere, but not the greatest in flavor

Great margaritas, good food - they mixed up my order a couple of times (cant have dairy - specifically requested no cheese/sour cream - meal came out with both on top of beans/lettuce, daiquiri had blob of whipped cream on top), daiquiris are ridiculously sweet, so beware the larger sizes if youre out drinking.

Service was bad, inattentive. I ordered a fajita salad with steak there were two pieces of steak....two small much by .5 inch pieces. My husbands fajitas were burned to the skillet. They replaced it, but evereyone else was done eating by the time he got his food.

Decent place for office lunches due to the location. Plenty of menu options including lunch menu. Portions are fairly big and you get tons of chips and salsa prior to your order. Ive had better tasting Mexican at other places though :)

One of a few close-to authentic Mexican joints in town. Highly recommend the fajitas and tacos. I could do without the mariachi band on the weekend but aside from that, its a good spot with fast, friendly service and good food.
