i wanted to eat here so i went here and ate i had a special request and was willing to pay any price for this request wanted hong shao pai gu and which is pretty much spare ribs with a special kind of sauce and they said yes we can do that and they charged me 20$ for the dish which like i said i would pay any amount for this dish because no one as it in iowa. So they went to cook it and i wanted to eat it home so i went home to eat it opened it up all it was, was sweet and sour pork that was a dish for like 9$. the reason why i give it 2 stars is because it was bad food or service but its because they scammed big time i would have still ordered more food from them if they didnt have that request but because they scammed i felt like this place is a good place to be and shall not be trusted.

I JUST ordered teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, also asked for extra order of egg rolls and hot n sour soup, for lunch, teriyaki chicken isnt on lunch menu, however orange chicken is, I rcvd it all-but just ONE egg roll, they charged me for soup and charged me for full entry, I should have automatically gotten rice, one eggroll, AND soup.......and another egg roll........the other chicken is ABSOLUTELY disgusting, I called to speak with manager, he talks to me then out of NO where places the girl that took my order, on the phone. She actually argued with me........very poor customer service from her and the manner, tso tsao is SO much better!!!!! You just lost a customer!

They will steal your money. I went in there with my dad during lunch and i saw the specials first and so the special was sweet and sour chicken for 7.75 and it came with egg roll and soup so dad ordered the special and i got mongolian beef and they charged us for a dinner sweet and sour chicken and dinner mongolian beef adding the total up to 32$ yes we got drinks but drinks werent for 6$ i t was for 2$ . So they take advantage of you if your not an east sider

I called in to see how much they charge for delivery and the lady was nice at the beginning of the call but after she told me the price for everything and I tried telling her what I wanted she cut me off and says "address first"...Okay. Im giving her my address then she cuts me off to say its too far! First impressions are everything and this was terrible customer service. You didnt have to be rude...Thanks for nothing.

Absolutely the worst chinese food weve ever had in the Des Moines area. Sweet and Sour chicken is not fried bits of chicken! I called and told them how horrible it was. She says, "no pineapple just fried chicken $8.50". I recon i know how much it is as we just PAID FOR THIS GARBAGE! would have been better off getting chicken head nuggets from McDonalds!!! Id love to attach a pic! Irritated beyond belief!

My family and I have eaten at this restaurant three times now and have not been disappointed! The normal prices are average, but the dinner and lunch prices are great even though the menu is limited. The atmosphere of the dining room could improve but it is to be expected for this type Chinese restaurant. But most importantly the food is fantastic you get good-sized portions of really good food.

If I could give it no stars I would I was yelled at on the phone for asking how much it was twice and the lady on the phone was having a bad day or something when I went in to just order carry out instead my grandmother said something about the phone call to the manager the woman I was on the with over heard and freaked out yelling and screaming I wouldnt go back if you played me

The best fresh hot and delicious chinese ive ever had! I moved across town and they were still willing to deliver to me which is amazing! Absolutely everything from here is amazing and cooked to order. I can wait an hour after delivery to eat and its still pipping hot. Best noodles ever. Also cant beat thier lunch and dinner special price! 4.25 and 5.25 wow :)

Watch out 6 of us ate here and got food poisoning. We called them about it and their response was we drank to much. It was 4 adults and 2 children. We didnt drink anything. This restaurant is horrible will never eat here and will make it know their food causes food poisoning!!!!

One word... FILTHY there were nats or fruit flys in my drink. i feel like theyre probably serving me dog or rat. it was hot and decent tasty but it was ready in 3 minutes.. man i just dont trust it. i gave it multiple chance but man its just not clean.

This is the best Chinese food on the East side. Very delicious and delivered in a timely manner. I like that they dont coddle and concentrate on good food. So many people think they need their asses kissed... Not me, I want to enjoy my food.

I got the crab Rangoon, wonton soup and General Tsos chicken and all of it was excellent tasting and arrived fast fresh and hot. Impressed as most Chinese places suck as I travel a lot for my job. Yummy!
