I wasnt expecting for this place to have food so when I found out and looked at the menu, I had to at least try something when I got there. I first started out with a strawberry mule since the mules were on special and cheap. I ordered the calamari and was surprised at how tender it was. One of the best calamari I have had in Ankeny! My husband and our friends tried the pizza and that was just as good as the calamari. The staff was super friendly and very tentative to make the whole experience great.

Poor service three times in a row. Sitting on the patio is a bad idea if you want food and drink service. Waitress never came to take our drink orders so the bartender came out and got our drink orders. Waitress finally got our food order and when she brought our food, did not bring napkins. We asked for napkins and she never ever came back. Never took another drink order from us. Finally went to the bar to pay and leave. Wont be going back. Too bad as the food was good when we finally got it.

Food is actually not bad. But weve been there a four times and the bartender on Sundays is horrible every time. Hes rude, takes forever to even approach the table, and put our order in wrong. He only cared about talking to his friends. It was football Sunday and the bartender hadnt changed any of the TVs to any of the games. He acted put out when we asked to change the station. I could go on and on. We tried to give this place another chance and it was still the same.

Awesome friendly and attentive staff and huge beer and liquor selection! Burgers, Wings, and Pizza are amazing and give you the best of all worlds. Mules, Martinis, Craft Cocktails, Frozen Drinks, Entertainment, TVs....Literally something for everyone and super clean and awesome decor. And the Patio....one word "WOW"

Much better choices in town. Service is slow, bartenders have bad attitudes, and to top it off I was at the bar for around 20 minutes not long ago and paid cash for two drinks. The next day I had TWO charges on my credit card for multiple drinks each.

Outstanding place, highly recommend to check out this bar and patio. Not only is the food amazing, but the drinks are as well. They have great customer service and hold a lot of fun events throughout the summer. Recommend the Wings!

Great bar! Food and service have always exceeded expectations. Prices are very reasonable. Had a grad party there and highly recommend to anyone looking for a party spot! Trivia night is a blast as well.
