I have been to hotbox pizza twice in the last week. the first time I went, I ordered a medium hot chick pizza and a beer, only to be told by the only person working that he couldnt serve me because he didnt have a liquor license. We ate the pizza and asked what time of day they usually had a person working able to serve beer. We were told always after 4 p.m. We went back about 4 days later at dinner time, about 5:30. Again!!! The ONLY person working at prime dinner time could not serve a stinking beer. You only have to be 18 to get a liquor license and judging by the numerous tattoos the guy had all over his forearms, Im guessing he is over 18. The person working did not apologize either time and seemed glad when we said we were leaving. I will never go back. The pizza is only a small step above chain pizza anyway and not worth the price.

The product itself is pretty good. We ordered a large cheese and large pepperoni pizza and bread sticks. I would rate the food at 4 stars. We went in to pick up the pizza and were greeted with greasy windows at the front door. Looking a little more, I could tell the windows havent been cleaned in a long while. Going inside I noticed the floors where really dirty and half the tables had old cups and trash on them. You can always tell when a place is dirty because it was just previously busy. This was not the case at this store. This place has a serious management problem and it is too bad because the food is pretty good. I cant recommend it.

Good Pizza. Good bread sticks. Horrible atmosphere due to poor quality BLARING MUSIC. A bit over-priced for lunch. If it wasnt for the BLARING MUSIC, Id go here more often. I do like loud music, but heavy metal (Rollins Band, Megadeath, Danzig type stuff) blowing through 3" diameter speakers sounds like crap and is VERY annoying. Oh yea, their lunch deal ("Lunchbox") is not much of a deal...no drink included. Figure on $8-9 for lunch with a drink! Did I mention the annoying BLARING MUSIC?

I didnt know what to expect after reading old reviews, however my family was craving pizza so we gave HotBox pizza a chance. First off, I enjoyed the ambiance; modern rock music with NFL Network and ESPN on the flat screens. Second, because of the location, I was expecting an expensive bill. 1 Large 1 topping pizza, breadsticks with dip, and 2 drinks for $16 is not bad. Finally, the service ad food was really good. I will definitely come back to eat here in the future.

We ordered a pizza via telephone for delivery. A sweet girl named Kelsey answered the phone. She was very friendly and bubbly. After waiting quite a bit past the time we were told I called to make sure there wasnt a problem with our address. Kelsey answered again. She was apologetic and went above and beyond to make it right. A nice gentleman brought our food. It was a great service and we will be ordering again soon!

If you stop delivery at 9:30 and close at 10:00 it should say so online, and further more when a customer who lives relatively close calls at 9:32 you should give that driver another run on a Wednesday night. I have ordered here 3 times the first two were terrible. The third was a make up order for the second one. Tonight was the final straw I will not EVER eat hotbox again. #Lazyteens #notsohotbox

So I loved the Hot Box in Broad Ripple and I would love to say the same about this one but I have not been able to get anyone to take my order yet... I have tried calling to order food from there three times since it opened and twice no one ever picked up and the one time someone did pick up they put me on hold for seven minutes and never came back.

Pizza is o.k. .... If they get it right and deliver it to the right house!!! As the manager told me he is aware of how much pizza I order and still can manage to deliver pizza to the wrong address and let someone else sign my credit card receipt. Thank goodness for good neighbors, because they have no regard for personal information.... Be Aware!!!

AWESOME, true to the Hot Box traditional yummy cheesy heavenly goodness. Had no issues placing my order or getting it on a timely manner. Unlike other pizza joints found in malls these pies are made when you order instead of cut from a pre made pizza that sits out. Oh and yummy garlic breadsticks too! Will be back!

I love Hot Box Pizza however, the Plainfield store is always dirty and the customer service is lacking. It may have to do with mostly teenagers running the store. Please please please management, make sure your store is clean and shape up your staff. I dont want to quit you but I will if things dont improve.

By far the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The name says it all it is like eating a hot cardboard box disguised as a pizza. Not to mention it is expensive and had to wait 50 minutes to be ready. Stay away save your money. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Called the manger and they were rude.

I had a great experience. I walked in doubting if would like it or not. I like how I was looking at the menu and the staff wasnt nagging to make me hurry up. The staff was nice and polite. The pizza was amazing. So much flavor in every bit. It was a great meal and amazing experience.

Im not sure why people think this location is bad. Ive never had a longer than normal pizza place wait. The food is always good here, Ive had more issues at the Ripple location personally. Ive had numerous delivery orders without issue either.

It was very good however the breadsticks were quite salty also I was happy that they didnt close as early as other pizza places and it was pretty awesome to open the box and find a delisous pizza with toostie rolls it was a nice surprise

If I could give no stars I would, they tell u 10 minutes for pizza and it took 20 minutes to get food for one slice! The food is great but they should make slices before people come in.

Not great but definitely not bad. One topping pepperoni pizza was wonderful. Barebones indoor dining however there are a number of televisions to watch while you wait and eat.

Worst pizza Ive ever had. I would have preferred a frozen jacks pizza for $3. Tasted like cardboard and toppings were low grade meat
