I was a waiter at Gennaros for several months. The food is good, but employment there is awful. I was great at my job- never had any complaints, always tipped really well from my customers, and I made many friends, but the owner, Cathy Gennaro, got upset with me when she found out I was looking for a second job, on top of what I already had. She wouldnt put me on during day shifts, so I figured it wouldnt be a problem if I had something to do when I wasnt on call for Gennaros. She became very hostile towards me in the following two weeks, and I had a single difficult night- I was struggling to keep up with tables (I had between 5-7 at any given point all night long), and I had a huge mess to clean up because her husband knocked 6 drinks out of my hands by accident, and she ended up sending me home. She told me she would call the next day, but it has now been 4 weeks, and although I have made attempts to contact them, she has not responded or talked to me since then. The food is good- Chef Brian is fantastic- but, as my fellow coworkers would have agreed, it is not a good work-environment.

Its a nice little shop, but they cant do pizza. Youll hear them caution anyone who leaves with one to "hold the box level", suggesting that they know theres a problem. The problem is that their pizzas are a mess. Its a shame. By the time you get home, the crust is sliced, but the cheese is all over - no matter how careful you are. Its a soupy mess - even after letting it sit. I gave them another shot recently, but no improvement. I just tossed it and went to Roccos. Its an issue of moisture and this place seems to be the only one that hasnt figured it out. Their sauce is too watery and the cheese is either frozen or otherwise too dry. They obviously dont knead the cheese during prep, so the results are predictable. The pizza did have good flavor the first time I tried it. And I visited for lunch just after moving to the area and their chicken parm was truly good, so Im not trying to bash them. Im just saying that if youre looking for an enjoyable pizza, this isnt the place to go.

There pizza is far from being watery. I think you smoked to much when you went there

Pizza was ok but not to my liking, i politely called and said i didnt like it and asked if they could re make it, when i got there the waitress was rude and very impolite. The pizza cook however was very polite and eager to make my pizza again and the second one i got was spot on. So pizza and subs r good but the wait staff(at least the cashier) definitely needs some etiquette lessons...

First cannt have people eating dinner with no ac way to hot. As for food was just ok pizza crusts hard sauce was kinda like a tomato paste . Was not very impressed

Local, ordered large Hawaiian style pie was very good prompt and courteous service. Prices are good.had a beer while I waited for pie.less than 20$

Was passing through town on a girls spring hopping trip and dropped in. The pizza was amazing and the service was great. Loved the crust!
