Well....it was interesting... in the way that watching someone fall in slow motion is interesting. They had a "thanksgiving special", and after we ate I asked the waitress what was different and special. She told us that they had "more meats and more on the salad bar". Everything that came to our table was on the menu they showed us. If that was "more" they probably take food from you on a regular day. They had someone mop the floor while we were sitting at our table which created two problems: the smell of dirty mop water and a slipping hazard any time we went to the salad bar. Supposedly there were turkey meats that were to come to our table, which we never saw. There were empty spaces on the salad bar and what was there looked old. Our waitress came to the table...twice I think? She was sitting down at a table with other staff at one point. I cant think of what she was doing in all that time, there were maybe 5 other people in the entire place. Is this place a front for something and she had to disappear to the back to roll dice in a mafia gambling ring? I had enough time sitting there to come up with many fantastical scenarios. The manager came by, and I think it was her first day. She didnt seem very confident. The guys who brought around the meat started out strong, but then they too disappeared for a while. The meat was tasty for the most part, but based on the rest of the experience I wouldnt recommend going there. We also made a reservation, which they made us wait on, in a practically empty restaurant. There was enough space that every guest was seated in their own section. I was astoundedly amused at how terrible the service and experience was. It was mind boggling, but we had a good time watching the failure happen in real time. Earlier on the same day we ate at Bob Evans, which was packed, and managed to have 10 times the service than at this empty restaurant. 2/5 stars for the funny meat servers.

Took my son and his girlfriend for a celebration lunch. We got our drinks and salad, and then sat for 20 minutes waiting for any meat service - all we got was some pineapple. I finally flagged our waiter and food started to slowly arrive, but despite them asking how we liked our meat (medium rare) everything was grossly overcooked - tough and chewy. We gave them as much of a chance as we could but when I tried the turkey wrapped in bacon, it was burnt on the outside and rubbery inside and I was starting to feel a little sick. We asked for the check so we could just leave (having eaten a few bites total between us). To their credit, when they asked me if everything was OK, and I responded no and explained why, the manager came over and comped the whole ticket. He asked me to please give them another try, and I said I would to be nice, but honestly I cant imagine ever going back. This was not our first time trying it, and the other times the food was mediocre and the service was not highly professional - as others have said, a very young staff without a lot of experience or polish. Fogo de Chao is more expensive**, but we have never had a bad meal there. The waiters are constantly in motion to take care of the customers and the food is always perfectly prepared. Tocanos is the poor mans version of Fogo, and it shows in every way. **The total bill that was comped for the three of us was about $72 for three meals and one soda, so its not exactly cheap.

Many of the negative reviews previously posted include comments that the meats are too salty/incredible, that service is weak, and that they push the pineapple and vegetables hoping youll eat less meat. This was not my experience today. If anyone would be shorted good service, I suspect it would be the single guy visiting for lunch around 2:30pm. I elected to sit at the bar where I received great service from Sarah. The churrasco offers a delicious and diverse meat selection largely cooked to order delivered by attentive and courteous servers at a good tempo. The salad bar was extensive and I sampled many good items. The drink selections are numerous. The meat servers and Sarah were all interested to know which meats were my favorites so they could bring me more of what I enjoyed best. If I had left hungry I would have only myself to blame. As one who has enjoyed a fine meal at Fogo de Chão downtown, I was curious how this meal would compare. Fogo was certainly better though it is not a fair comparison as I dined at Fogo for dinner, not lunch, and, like Fogo, Tucanos offers a larger meat selection for dinner. While the overall quality at Fogo was better in my admittedly uneven comparison, the price at Tucanos truly makes it a bargain. I look forward to my next visit.

The good, the bad and the ugly... The good: the meat was really really tastey, cooked to perfection (better than some fogos Ive been) the salad bar had a decent selection, an you even get fried pineapple, yummy! The bad: the service, they are unprepared, dont take away your dirty plates, really unprofessional. The ugly: they ran out of 3 of there already small selection of meats, I only took notice when I specifically asked for those meats, only then they told me that they ran out of it; and we are talking about the meats that made me wanna check this place out in the first place, like the fillet minion, and the beef tender, Im out of words... Cant articulate how disappointed I was.... Ps. I would of looked away on there service, and rated them 5 star, if they would of had there full selection of meat.. What a missed opportunity to make it my favorite rodizio place..

This was our first time at Noblesville Tucanos and we were disappointed to say the least. The ambiance was good enough and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately the service was not so good. We had to wait quite a bit between meat service which would have been bearable if the food was good. Quite frankly we were surprised with the amount of salt in the food. The brisket was so salty that we couldnt even eat it. Most of the other meat items were either so salty that they were almost inedible or they were really chewy. The only good item was white fish. Salad bar was decent but nothing to write home about. On the whole it was not a good experience. We will not be going back.

This was my third unique Brazilian grill experience, and unfortunately the worst of the 3. While the price was comparable to the other two, the quality and service was lacking. The meat selection was seemingly slim compared to my other experiences and the salad bar and sides were so-so. I did enjoy the convenience of having the carafe on the table, as most of the waiters and waitresses were busy with other tables and the mostly over-seasoned meat required frequent beverage consumption. Overall not terrible, but overpriced for the quality and service.

My wife and i tried this place last night for dinner. It did not meet our expectations. It was half the price of other Brazilian grills/steakhouses weve eaten at, but we still didnt feel like we got our moneys worth. The service was decent and the salad bar was what youd expect for that price. But the meat service is where it all fell apart. All but a few cuts if meat we had were terribly overcooked and extremely salty. It simply didnt live up to the Brazilian grill experience.
