Local bar, decent size, pool tables, daily specials and good food. Service wise if iz decent but inconsistent service. Our first time we had great service, warm food, decent wait time and a professional waitress, the 2nd visit we decided to sit at the bar and the heavyset bartender/waitress with a left half sleeve flower tattoo had a terrible bitchy attitude problem and seemed surprised that we wanted to sit down, order food and sit at the bar. Despite this issue we may be back but hope to have a similar experience to our first visit. There are other local bars like Lord Ashley, Murphys etc nearby that may be worth checking out.

Here for a Thanksgiving visit with family. Waiter was great but she was on break, so we asked the bartender for drinks. She rudely stated "I work the bar only!". We were literally 3 feet away at the pool table. I was able to find the waiter who sooo sweetly came and took our orders although she wasnt even on duty anymore. My first AND LAST time coming here. Get a new bartender with customer service training.

I ordered a White Russian that was mostly milk and later a glass of wine which was certainly out of the "discount store." The people working their are nice and they have solid bar food, although I was disappointed in the fries. The band, Ripple effect was great and made the evening worth it.

Lovely atmosphere. Perfect mix of biker bar and upscale club. Well laid out. Service is prompt, and friendly. Food is simple, and well prepared. Drinks are simple and strong. Very clean. Id love to come back the next time I am in Indianapolis. Only downfall, no kareoke.

We have been to Hotcakes Emporium twice and both times were great. Everyone liked their selection. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We will definitely go again even though I cant eat much!!!!

Father and I usually go here for food and beer on sundays. Lunch menu is well priced and has a decent selection. I always get the Sriracha chicken wrap, which has some heat to it but is very good.
