It took 10 minutes to get a waitress, at least 7 minutes between drinks and being able to order, then another 45 minutes to receive food (An app as a meal and a burger) then 20 more min after finishing our food to receive a check. When I ordered an item that was labelled gluten free but specifically asked for it to be prepared as such, the waitress said, "Well I dont know why it wouldnt be," in a very haughty tone. (Because maam, I just ate at a restaurant and ordered a GF item that came out fully breaded, "Because you didnt ask for it that way."... in my head) Later when asking for a check the lady said, "Dont worry. I always bring one out." Obviously! But apparently not in a timely manner, and Im over this place and your attitude, lady... in my head. The "best burger in town" was decent, but not The Best. My bacon wrapped poblano peppers had been sitting so long under the hot lamp that my cheese was glue. Terrible. Next time Ill follow the recommendations and go to El Arriero next door.

Redwood does what it does well. They have a great space on the lake, with a beautiful patio and large windows. The beer selection and food are consistently good. (The mahi mahi special on Friday nights is one of my favorite meals around.) The food is accessible, with flair and great flavor (although it could be presented with a bit more pizzaz.) Great place to hang out with coworkers for an "offsite meeting." Is sometimes a bit quieter than it should be (potentially the location away from the downtown hub... ) and would definitely benefit from some trails or a nice place to walk around next to the lake after your meal. However, I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I cannot believe this restaurant has 4 1/2 stars. If I could give it a negative number I would. The food is mediocre and definitely not memorable. Terribly over-priced and the cocktail I ordered wias so bad I had to send it back and order something totally different.. Everybody I know that has ever eaten there, all say the same thing, "I will never eat there again". Their high score has to be coming from employees and owners to keep the place open. There are too many other restaurants in Warsaw that are far superior than the Redwood Firewood Grill and more reasonably priced.

The best place in Warsaw to enjoy fantastic food, great atmosphere, excellent service, and a nice view. My family and I have never had a meal here that we didnt enjoy. The buffalo meatloaf, bbq ribs and prime rib are a favorite of my husband and son, and the maytag mac and cheese, Hawaiian mahi mahi and pinchos are a favorite for my daughters and myself. If youre tired of the same old thing from other places nearby, then you should definitely give Redwood a try.

This is the second occasion we have been here in a month, and each time, we had to wait ages for our order. We arrived tonight at 7pm, and were finally served just before 9pm. Some of us were going on to the theater, and needed to leave by 9.15 latest. The manager admitted that large tables are given low priority, and they serve smaller tables first. He seemed unsympathetic. Plus real bad disabled facilities. Steps everywhere, and poor space in ladies restroom.

The food was good but took awhile, we were there about an hour before we were served. The waitress was newer and took our mojito before they were empty, we were a bit annoyed because my friend had about a quarter of hers remaining. Three out of four people got their food and 5 or 10 minutes later the fourth received his food. No complaints about the food just mostly poor service. Probably will not be returning.

If youre looking for fine dining in Warsaw, this is probably your best bet. The cocktail and beer selection is good, the food is excellent, and the lakeside location is beautiful. At lunchtime, try the empanadas. Theyre outstanding. Feeling hungry? The burgers are massive and delicious. Sadly neither was offered on the dinner menu, which switches to slightly more mainstream steak-and-pasta options.

In Warsaw for business and this place was the highlight. The beer menu was terrific. The food selection was pretty unique. The crab soup was probably the best bowl of seafood type soup I have every had. Seriously I could have eaten three bowls. I had the Santa Fe burger and it was great. Perfectly cooked and the roll was perfect. This is a really good spot that Id frequent if I lived up here.

Great atmosphere, view of the lake is nice. I had the Spicy Seafood Linguine. Omgosh, SO AMAZING. The shrimp were bigger than my thumbs. The creamy butter sauce was cleaned up with their home made bread. Two of us, with appetizer, entre and desert was around $90. Well worth it. If it wasnt so delicious, we should have had left overs

Probably one of the nicest restaurants in Warsaw. Waiters are friendly, food is good. View of the lake is incredibly nice during sunset. Food takes forever to arrive though. They have musicians perform occasionally outside on the patio. Its fun when theyre around. A little expensive but the ambiance is worth it.

View is great servers are friendly but food was just ok. Had the stuffed shrimp which was barely warm. Nice atmosphere for couples and nice waitstaff but our meal was $60 and just mediocre food. Loved the view but too expensive for food quality and small menu choices.

I have been here four times since Redwood opened, and every time has been delicious. The food and drinks are great and the hispanic flare is calm and inviting. The waiters could answer any questions, and had quick service. Pricing is a little on the higher side.

Great place to have a beer overlooking the lake, but dont expect too much from the food for the price Solid beer selection and excellent view of the lake, but I found the food to be a tad underwhelming. The creativity is there, but the execution is lacking.
