Placed a to go order on the phone and the staff was so helpful and patient explaining menu items and portions. Very impressed. Delicious food. Really really good. Great beer choices. Cant wait to go again.....Adding to my review after my second trip to this wonderful establishment.....This time we dined in. The place was packed. The staff was just as courteous and helpful as my initial visit. The brisket and the pulled pork are the best Northwest Indiana has to offer. The sides are excellent too. Be sure the try the fries, the bacon jalapeno poppers, and the jalapeno corn muffins. Tip: Like Bombers BBQ on Facebook to learn about the daily specials and for updates on when they may be running out of food. They cook their food fresh and only make enough for a day so they close when they run out. I love that they have a $3 seasonal side that changes frequently. It makes me want to come back often. On my first visit it was super cheesy mac and cheese and today it was sweet potato fries with AN OUT OF THIS WORLD GARLIC AIOLI SAUCE. Cant wait for my next visit!

Easily one of the best barbecue joints Ive been to anywhere, let alone in Northwest Indiana. Burnt ends are the best, but I dont think there is a bad thing on their menu. Staff is always incredibly pleasant. Special sides are often worth the try. Variety of sauces from which to choose (though Bombers namesake sauce is the best). For those dining in, solid beer choice, too (though a tad IPA-heavy). Prices are reasonable, too. They added a another smoker at some point, and dont seem to have as many problems as they used to running out of items. Peak hours do get some lines, but service is generally quick and the lines actually help make sure tables are open once you get your food.

I dont do this ever! I went there about 2 weeks ago for a pulled pork and it was so good I have been back 5 times in 2 weeks and the reason Im writing this now is because I was checking to see if they were gonna be open when I get out of work in 20 minutes and thought I would write a quick review! The place is clean, people are great, they cook out where you can see, they give big portions for great price, and most importantly they have the best bbq anywhere around! If you have not been there and your looking for a place to go by yourself or with your family!

I live in Houston but am from this area. I was extremely skeptical about brisket in NW Indiana. Really?? WOW! This is the real deal. Brisket is butter!!! Mac and cheese was crazy Delish!! Slaw wow! I did not finish tasting all of it. Ate too much!! Now the price.....BARGAIN! 8 lbs of brisket and pork. 50 wings many sides and bread. $270 bucks. Really?? Feed 15 people for this quality ?? Im flying to Munster for barbecue from now on. Now info like a more tangy sauce versus sweet so I mixed the atomic and bomber. Great stuff and thank you!!

Amazing food here, some of the best bbq I have ever had and I lived in Austin, Texas. I was pleasantly surprised when I had the food here. The ribs were smoked perfectly locking in the juices. The sides were just as amazing as the slab of ribs (Mac and cornbread). The house bbq sauce is out of this world!! This is some of the best bbq I have ever had, you would think you were in Texas! If you live in Chicago land, and call yourself a foodie, you would be doing yourself a disservice not heading here. So far te best bbq I have found in the Midwest!

Fantastic! Bombers is really awesome. All of their food is fantastic and extremely consistent and very reasonably priced for BBQ. Their portions are very large and their meat is cooked beautifully; moist and flavorful. My only complaint is that since theyve been "discovered" they are really busy and they sometimes run out of BBQ early (although just recently they started to expand their capacity). They also have limited seating so try not to come too close to a major busy time. HIGHLY recommended. One of the best places in Northwest Indiana.

Had a bad experience on Mothers Day. Called in an hour before I wanted to pick up a large order and was told they had plenty of BBQ but couldnt take order until a half hour before pick up. Called back a half hour later and was told could not place order; they had run out of pulled pork. Seriously? I just called earlier for that reason. The person on phone even remembered me calling; would not substitute on my large order. They just lost a customer... Try Lynnie Ques in Lansing!

Great food Always and a great value! Very reasonable prices and you get a Ton of food,,as opposed to most of their competition where you pay Too much for not a lot and not gois food. The staff is always very pleasant and friendly and the restaurant is super clean. They have the BEST SHRIMP AROUND theyre my Favorite oh!,and the sweet potato fries with garlic aioli is freaking to die for!!! These guys know how to smoke and BBQ!!☆

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and totally worth the price. The portions are large and they really take care of their customers. My wife casually joked with a guy sweeping the floor that she didnt like the beer she chose and, without saying anything to her, he went and asked the manager and they came to our table, apologized, and gave her another beer of her choice. Now *thats* how to treat a customer.

They used to tell you specials now they tell you what they are out of. Sorry but 2pm they are out of brisket? Bad management, oh out of babybacks? How about pulled pork oh out of that too? They open at 11am and they are out during the week as well not just weekends. Ever since they started serving alcohol , they seem to be letting everything else slide, like food availability. Wont be returning . Good places gone bad.

THIS PLACE IS THE REAL DEAL. My wife is from the southwest where real BBQ is a religion not a cooking method and she loves this place. I can do nothing but agree with her. I honestly have only tried the brisket, chicken wings which are smoked and fried, and the buffalo shrimp. Not because thats all thats good at this place. These three things are just so good I havent had the desire to try anything else!

The meat is always tender and melts in your mouth. The variety of sauces is flavorful. The employees are polite helpful and everyone always has a big smile on their face. The buffalo shrimp were great. They werent dry or overcooked. When I bit into the shrimp the flavors burst in my mouth. The mac n cheese is homemade and delicious. Pork n beans had chunks of meat in them they were tasty.

The workers are extremely helpful! I recently went with my 3 on daughters and couldnt have done it without the workers. They didnt make me feel terrible when one of my daughters spilled her drink, they just came and clean the right up! Then they even took time to chit chat with me in my girls! "My man" behind the counter serves a killer garlic aioli with the sweet potato fries!
