Called ahead for order to be picked up, arrived at the counter 15 min after call to pick up food, waited at counter for 10 min while the guy and gal chit-chat in the back. I mentioned about soup and was told no soup. What I see in the steamer was baked beans, I wasnt asked or offered any to add to my order at that time. My food was sitting out on the counter packed in a bag. Not under any type of warmer. Total was given $44.91. When he handed me the bag it felt very light for 3 half rib dinners. Upon arriving home and opening boxes I find very small half slabs, a small handful of hard fries (no extra sauce) ribs are supposed to be messy, make you use several napkins.This was not the case with Hog Haven. The coleslaw was very strong vinegar and thin sauce. I called the restaurant to talk with the guy, he says "we sell a lot of ribs, cant make everyone happy" Live and learn.....will stick with the out of the way places even if I have to drive farther next time...... I had hi hopes this local business would have earned my money, but I feel as if all they did was take it and not deliver on what should have been.

The wife and I picked up some pork chop sandwiches from this place(phoned ahead, based on other reviews) and they were some of the best tasting chops Ive had in a long time. We also updated our regular fries for some Psycho fries with our meal which complimented the already great pork chop. The pork chops are huge so come with a huge appetite or save half for dinner or lunch the next day. Protip: The chef cooks the chops for you fresh so if you dont phone it in ahead of time you will wait a while for your food.

Hands down, the BEST! It is simple: when you start with great ingredients, you end up with a great meal! The quality of the meat is top notch. The owners really care and enjoy people. If you are expecting Fast Food, then go to a Fast Food place. They make everything to order and will make it however you want, but you have to tell them what you want upfront. We dont mind the wait, because it is ALWAYS EXCELLENT FOOD at a fair price!

Would have given zero stars if possible. Took forever to get food. Advertised 1 1/4 inch juicy pork chop was dry and tough. Cole slaw tasted like just cabbage and mayo. All others at my table didnt like their food either. Bad service as well.

Excellent chops, ribs, and pork Tenderloin Sandwich. Fries are good, but I prefer the oven browns. This place is very similar to Hog Wild into Midlothian, Illinois.

I ordered the Rib tip and chicken combo. That was probably the best BBQ chicken I have ever had. The tips are out of bounds too. Outstanding food!!
