My daughter and I were traveling south on Indiana 37 and stopped at the Martinsville Dairy Queen last Sunday Aug 10th between 8 and 9 pm. Some of the staff’s shirts were filthy and covered with smears of dried ice cream and who knows what else. I wondered how in the world their shirts were so dirty! I soon learned. I ordered a Blizzard and observed the girl who made it wipe the outside of my cup with her filthy shirt. I told her she should not be doing that, and her response was “Why not?”. I said because your shirt is filthy and covered with germs. Do they not train anyone what germs are in this establishment? It seemed slightly reasonable that one employee’s shirt was this dirty but I observed at least two! I wondered were those shirts actually clean when they started their shift or did they start filthy and just got more filthy as the day went on. I honestly have never observed a Dairy Queen with employees covered with dried ice cream and be so unsanitary in my 52 years. I hope this DQ cleans up it’s act and trains it’s employees. I hope no one gets ill from the irresponsible way these employees are trained or not trained as the case may be.

My boyfriend and I stopped by this Dairy Queens Drive-Thru today. He ordered one of the pre-made sundaes from the cooler inside. They gave us the wrong one, so he asked if he could just come inside and exchange it for the one he wanted. Not only did they tell us no, the girl who took our money got an attitude and made some very loud sarcastic comments. Terrible customer service!! I am the manager of a restaurant and if my employees acted this way they would be fired on the spot. We will definitely never be back!

All of them were too busy gawking at what was going on next door at the gas station to get any work done. We waited for ten minutes just to get someone to take out order. And they completely screwed our order up. Very very displeased.

Didnt enjoy the experience at all!!! Teenagers everywhere. Very loud!!! Teenage boy in a grey Ford truck ran over and moved the concrete parking barriers, and just kept on going!!!! Not very enjoyable for older folks.

I like the fact that the place is runned my young adults, fries are the best. The hamburger meat could be better. Blizzards are great idea but the ice cream tastes more on the buttery side.

Ordered plain pork tenderloin sandwich. Three times it took them to get it plain & not one person offered an apology for delay!! Not a busy time either! Will not be going back:(.
