My husband and I visited this establishment a couple weeks ago during a rare child free day time outing. Also know as a date. We were disgusted to say the least. We paid and sat down. Were were brought the tiniest sized beverages ever. No big deal I get it. The first issue I had was the salad bar! I have over 10+ years of restaurant and management experience. The dressings were all just sitting on the salad bar completely room temperature. The soup was luke warm if that. The sushi was also not fresh and the tiniest size sushi I have ever seen. Nothing was ready to go it seemed. Yet sadly it was 4:30 so they should have been hot and ready to go for dinner. Clearly they were not expecting a rush. Every bite I took got worse. With the food safety training I had as well as my husband we could not continue eating. He said lets go they can keep the money. We left after 5 minutes of eating neither of us could finish anything we tried. We walked out and it bothered me. So I went back in since not once did any of the employees ask us how our food was. I was taken to another employee who spoke English. She couldnt understand me. I very loudly and clearly said This food is no good! It is cold. It is not safe to eat. You are going to make people very sick. They shrugged me off and continued to eat their hot fresh meals while their guest sat and ate the unsafe spoiled buffet. Disgusted is an understatement. Money wasted. I love food and that is the first time I have ever not finished a meal at a restaurant.

Good and affordable small place with quite athmosphere. Well cooked and mostly fresh food (I see few stale meals sometimes, but really small amount). They provide pretty small selection of food comparing to other China buffets in area, but still have most popular main meals, they just dont make fancy food (you will find there general chicken, rangoons, some breaded shrimps, dumplings, etc., but dont try to find there pork ribs, salmon or oysters). Everything, counting soft drinks bar, included to price, they will not charge you any extra cent. Comfortable soft seats and nobody rushes you, you can seat and eat calm and slow, they will not make you feel uncomfortable with it. Unfortunately, they dont have good variety of real seafood - just small selecion and amount of shrimps, and mostly provide chicken and imitated crab meat (not real), but they beat all other China buffets in area by the price for at least 2-3 dollars per person.

The fact that there were only two other people in there should have been my first clue, but unfortunately we stayed. The selection was extremely limited. The food was lukewarm at best and some items were so dry it wasnt edible. When we went back to the "buffet" to try to find alternatives to what we picked moments before, we found most of the trays had been removed so there was no rice, no chicken and broccoli and so little old crusty noodles that we told the sole employee we were going to leave. He assured us more food was being made, but after waiting 15 minutes for nothing, we paid so we could go eat somewhere else. Im grateful he offered us a discount for the inconvenience. We wont be back.

There is no better feeling in the world than the one I get when I walk out of China Buffet. I feel full and nourished, ready to complete any more tasks the day has to offer in an energetic and refreshed way. I smell incredible. I look incredible. There is a beautiful 10 foot radiating mass of garlic and krab and ice cream cloaking my body and general being that stays around for about 8-10 days, even with showering. Also they let me bring my dog, and he was so happy to have a good meal. My one issue though is that no one offered to pet my dog, and he is a really friendly German Shepherd. That being said if you go to China Buffet, you will have an amazing time, just dont bring your dog.

Friend asked post.... Not sure if anything changed after "remodel" No one greet in front had to wait Went to bathroom, and other friend as well in other, both filthy and very little toilet paper NO towels dryer broken. Flies all over and crawling bugs plus saw either big mouse or small rat.. Food bars not maintained well at all. Drinks and desert and soups either... Other friends said staff and owners arguing in back as well as front. Very disappointed as used to be favorite place years ago. Back and tried twice just see if having bad day and NO change.

If I could give this negative stars, I would do just that. I went there with my boyfriend to eat some lunch and when I went to get my first plate of food I saw a cockroach ON THE BUFFET. It was disgusting and we will never go back again. Not to mention, the bathrooms were incredibly filthy. Dont worry, though, we got our money back and went across the street to Fazolis. If you want some GOOD Chinese food, go to Asian Pearl in Bedford. They have the best Chinese food Ive ever tried. Dont eat at this restaurant. Ever.

Not a bad buffet. Had 2 rows of entrees and sides, one fruit and dessert, salad table, and an ice cream table. The drinks are help yourself fountain and coffee. For recognizable foods they had General Tsos which was quite sweet like Fortune Cookies sesame chicken with a hint of spiciness. They also had teriyaki chicken, shrimp, beef and broccoli. They had some American sides like potato wedges, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and chicken wings. For $9 on a Friday evening, not bad at all.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try........ HUGE mistake. No one in the front to greet people. The restaurant was empty. It smelled funky. The food was old and gross. The food smelled weird, and didnt taste very good. We are from NY where they have excellent Chinese food. For all the Asian people that live here you would think that the Chinese food would be great, none of it is. Makes us wish we still lived in NY. I will NEVER go there again.

I am forced to give 1 star, because thats the minimum I can. Me and my friends decided to have dinner at this place was deserted, it gave us a weird feeling. The food was horrible, nothing fresh, all cold food & even the taste sucked! When I walked up to the fruits counter, there were FLIES/INSECTS on all of the fruits/deserts. I mean how worse can it get from here!! Please please please, avoid this place at any cost. I shall NEVER EVER go here.

Went in at 8:00pm on a Sunday, and the place was silent and there were no other people in the building. My friend and I got boxs to go but all the food was hard and crusted over. I am limited to a minimum of one star, but it is my honest belief that the place in its current state could not pass any health inspection under any standard. This is the first time I believed that I was robbed of my money from a restaurant.
