The service here is simply not good. The idea is great, the price is reasonable, the quality of the sushi is average at best, but the service is really terrible. Ive been there 3 times now. Not once did they even make sure our table had the right number of plates. All three times, weve been put at a table with 2 plates and 2 sets of silverware. At no point in our entire meal were we EVER brought more napkins, more silverware, or more plates. We had to steal our stuff from other tables. The sushi gets made fairly quick, however its just average in quality. The servers NEVER check up on you unless you order more stuff. Never brought us any wasabi (horse radish) until we begged for it. Getting a final bill is bloody murder. The servers walk around with their heads pointed at the ground and will never ever look at you. I finally gave up and had to go up front and fetch someone out of the kitchen. ALL THREE TIMES. We are done with this place.

Not only is the place clean and shiny, the food is 10x better than any other Chinese place in Bloomington and surrounding areas. Dont believe me? Check Kiku Sushi for yourself. They are so legit that they even have exotic foods there. Their all you can eat for lunch or dinner is amazing. You get to sit down at a clean table, receive your drinks in a snap, and order off a tablet. I recommend to get their Dim Sums while you wait for your food. The waiting time is just perfect timing. Everything arrives in a timely manner. The servers are very polite, respectful, and friendly. If you want to impress a coworker, go on a date, hang out with friends, spend time with the family, or even treat your self, I recommend that Kiku Sushi is the place to be. Their sake is wonderful as well and the whine too.

Ive lived in Japan and Korea for three years as a teacher so I have eaten exceptional good in the past. if day that July is average, nothing pops but they have a ton of rolls if that is your thing. Id give it a 3.5 if I could as it wasnt bad. I ordered sushi and the pieces of fish were small and cut rather thin with no wasabi on the rice to keep it attached. The sushi roll was similar so if you are particular to more rice than fish this is for you. Me? I am a sashimi guy and only eat rice as needed. Would l return? Sure, if I am in area. The last thing Id thought Id add... The wasabi was old and not spicy plus they only give 1-2 pieces of ginger to cleanse the palate.

If you dont plan on doing all you can eat ($22/24), probably better to skip this place. The service was atrocious--we had to pull over the waiter after 30min of waiting just to get a menu. Then we had to pull her again to order. Then after waiting for the food for about an hour, we had to check in on the food status (a friend had to leave early). When we arrived there was only 2 other tables...by the time we left the restaurant was pretty full. Of course we had to flag her down to ask for the check. The waiter never checked in on our table at all. The sushi was actually pretty good, but not worth the hassle of flagging down someone constantly.

The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. While you can order a la carte, the all-you-can-eat is well worth it. From soups and salads, tempura and ramen, to rolls and pad thai, everyone will be able to find their favorites and even try something new. You place your order as you go right at the table (theres an iPad for convenience) so you can spread out your meal as youd like it. Because the food is made-to-order, though, give yourself plenty of time to sit and enjoy everything that Kikus Sushi has to offer. For those with a sweet tooth (myself included) you can even end your meal with a scoop of ice cream!

It is OK. Nice and clean environment, but the food is the real issue here. After the third time trying it, I am confident to make the following comments: Nigiri are made with very thin cut of fish and a large portion of rice. Good rice, but you end up eating rice instead of fish. The fish is OK, had not get sick yet. I dont care for those Chinese appetizers. If I want Chinese, then I will go to Chinese restaurant. Rolls are the same like the nigiri, mainly rice and very little of fish. My rating for this establishment is more like 2 and 1/2 * I will stick with "traditional Japanese" restaurant and forget about all you can eat - rice!

All-you-can-eat sushi is a nice idea, but this restaurant doesnt execute it well. The quality is poor-- the fried calamari tasted like it had been recently thawed, the Boston roll was tasteless save for the syrupy mango sauce that overpowered everything, even the dishes are cheap plastic. The service was quite poor-- the waitress did not understand English well enough to bring us accurate checks even on the third try. The atmosphere reminded me of a McDonalds-- hard plastic, neon, echoing voices due to the lack of carpet or any kind of noise-reducing fabric anywhere. The one thing I think worked well was the iPad ordering system.

Worst restaurant Ive ever been to. The service scammed us into paying way more than what was discussed when we first arrived. We had a half off coupon that we showed the waitress before we ordered to make sure that was what we were getting and she completely lied. We ended up paying 3x more than expected and both meals that we ordered were tasteless and awful. Management treated us horribly when we were questioning the bill. NEVER EAT AT KIKU SUSHI THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND DONT KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS!

Food was alright. The "dim sum" wasnt great. Service was awful. The employee that cleans tables up was rude and have no regards to customers sitting next to the dirty table. He literally threw dishes into the bin. It was unnecessarily loud. I witnessed several tables not getting their food in a timely fashion. I had to ask to get my water refilled several times. Not once did the waitress fill it up for me without me asking. It was not a pleasant experience.

$23 a person for all you can eat sushi, appetizers, soup, and choice Thai dishes. I asked if soft drinks were included in the price and was told yes on two occasions...but they arent included. Once I told the waitress that she charged me for the drinks that were "included," she became very defensive and denied giving me the wrong answer. Service after that point was beyond terrible and she was rude to me the rest of the night. I wont be back!

All you can eat sushi for a reasonable price. The iPad system can be a little confusing at first but lets you easily pick what you want and makes it easy to keep ordering more food without flagging down your waiter. The staff were friendly and fairly quick to help out with any questions about the menu.

All you can eat sushi is good. They overload the rice to fill you up. The staff is seriously one of a kind. People say they are rude but its more like they just dont want to be there and forget about you quite often. Just order something else on the iPad and that will force them to come to your table.
