This is real road food! Our road trip rule is "no chains" so we look for out of the way places with local flavor. State Line did not disappoint. From the outside, it is unassuming and, in the words of my daughters, "sketch." Inside it is a real road side diner. Old, but comfortable - and clean. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful; the food was good. If you read other reviews that said the portions were too small, let me tell you that I had the single biscuit and gravy and was very glad that I hadnt ordered the double. And no one in our party of 5 left hungry. They also have fried cornmeal mush, something that you dont find much anymore.

Great little country diner. Hungry Man breakfast is awesome. You wont leave hungry. Good lunch menu too. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes, liver and onions. Not a huge menu but plenty to choose from. I should mention the platter sized pancakes and homemade jams too. If you are driving too fast you might miss it. The building and the Decor are right out of the 50s. Quaint but it works. I recommend a stopover.

Been going here since I was a kid. I had been left here by my parents and the employees watched over me. After they closed the owner gave me a ride home. My parents called and she told them im on my way. Im now the "home alone boy." Good food at a cheap price. Large portions. Great place to go. My family has the nickname of the fluffies.

Heres a great little diner perfect for a good hearty breakfast. You would likely pass this one by but the packed parking lot from 8am to Noon should tell you otherwise! Portions are good size and the food tastes great. This restaurant has been around for more than 50 years and it is a winner.

I was not impressed. Portions average. Quality good, but when I ordered the special, the waitress offered to group my order to "save me money. No real savings for the amount of food that was withheld. I will suggest that if you like goetta, try their spicy goetta.

Always busy , staff are friendly, food is great, portions are massive. What more do you want? Its a great down to earth diner, its not a white table cloth joint, and the prices reflect that. Its our Sunday get up an go for breakfast place.
