We stopped here because of all the rave reviews but maybe people here wouldnt know good food if you hit them in the head with it. Ordered crab stuffed mushrooms that were supposed to have Parmesan and mozzarella cheese the crab was obviously from a can and the Parmesan cheese was nowhere to be found. Herb grilled chicken with Marsala mushroom sauce i dont know if you know this but putting mushrooms in brown gravy doesnt make Marsala sauce. A loaded baked potato that was burnt and yet not fully cooked at the same time how do you do that ????? The asparagus was flavorless and not trimmed properly. Oh and we also had the cheesecake which was OK but its hard to mess up a cheesecake from the box. And all of it completely overpriced !!! I could see paying what we did to get quality food prepared properly but not for food from boxes and cans from the common pantry shelf. What an outrage !!

Dang this place was good, if youve never been, it may catch you off guard, you order at the counter, including beer and wine, go find a table and put your number on it, get your own soda, then they bring your food out. Wow the food is great. We tried the trout and the awesome light and flaky catfish, and a couple really good pasta dishes, excellent cheese grits, but the desserts stole the show. The cheesecake was a normal level of cheesecake awesome, the chocolate bunt cake was fantastic, and the bread pudding, omg the bread pudding was beyond description.

We were travelling through on the interstate and spotted this place with great reviews just a little out of the way. Were SO glad we made the little detour. The shrimp and grits were A-mazing. I dont count myself as a shrimp and grits expert but this will be the version I will judge all others by. And to top off the meal my wife and I split a bread pudding with bourbon sauce. It too was superb. Bravo to Jewells on Main for an excellent dinner. So if youre reading this review and are deciding whether to take the detour off the interstate - do it.

So glad we read the reviews and took a risk on Jewells on Main. Was headed home to MI from a conference in Nashville with a friend. Couldnt stomach the thought of eating at a chain restaurant on 75. This experience was well worth the detour! Best shrimp and grits Ive ever eaten! Unique experience, order at the counter and you get a table assigned to you. Had a great conversation with people in line and decided to share a table with them. Small town America at its finest.

Great food. Unique atmosphere. You stand in line to order, then they bring the food out. The food was amazing, and will definitely be back when I am down from Cincinnati again. Not at all what you expect from the type of restaurant it looks like. If you have a chance, stop by you will not be disappointed. I got a steak, and it was great. Never would have thought this place does good steaks, but they do. Dont hesitate to get anything on the menu.

We come here often. Its a 45 min drive. We know there can be a wait, oh well we dont bring the kids for that reason. Food is always great. One lady wrote staff is rude, never have experienced this. We have dealt with the bad phone issue trying to make sure they were open on a birthday occasion. I ended up calling the fire house across the street who came over and checked on them. Then we drove down and ate.

Wonderful food with a home town vibe. The only confusion came with the ordering process, but after its explained, easy. Started with the bayou shrimp (DELICIOUS). I recommend any of the salads. I had the grilled herbed chicken with portebella mushroom sauce and it was amazing. To top the entire experience off the owner casually walks around talking to customers. Prices excellent and food is even better!

Saw another person order Shrimp n Grits and asked if I could swap the shrimp for chicken. They revamped the whole recipe for me and it was delicious! Flavorful, fresh, rich and reasonable. Very accommodating staff and they get you in and out promptly with the pay before you eat system. Thanks Jewells and especially the lady chef, quite a treat.

We lucked out when we stumbled upon this place! Jewells On Main has a wide variety of food on their menu. The two dishes we tried, shrimp n grits and the pork tenderloin, were absolutely delicious! They also had other menu items such as fried chicken and waffles, hot brown, and chicken quesadilla that I would love to try next time around!

Great food was served to us after we ordered at the counter. Great service but so loud in there that my ears were bleeding. So loud of screaming voices over other dining voices that it was almost unbearable. I wanted out of there. Go when they are slow or get it to go. Good food and nice clean place. EAT OUTSIDE!

Staff is very rude. They never answer their phone, it goes to voicemail or they hang up on you. The menu DOES NOT say what is in their food, so when asked how they make it - because honestly every place makes things slightly different- they get mad. Not the people I want handling my food.

Our favorite place when traveling through. Every selection we have had has been excellent. Their system is a little different. Select your food from menu as soon as you arrive. Order and Pay first, then find your numbered table.

This is the BEST places Ive eaten at in the whole Cincy area!!!!! The presentation of the food is beautiful! The wait can be a little long, but its well worth it!!! I cant wait to go back for more!!!!!!!!!!

Jewells On Main was such a unique place to eat. Gonna go every night this week as we are in town to work. We had beef medallions and shrimp & grits. If nobody would have seen, I would have licked my plate!!

Food was excellent. Steak medallions and pork tenderloin were cooked to perfection. I have a gluten allergy and they were great at being accommodating and the kitchen was very knowledgeable and capable.

Great place to grab lunch. Frog legs are excellent. The open face turkey sandwich is amazing. Place is always packed for a good reason but it moves quickly so dont be deterred if the line seems long.

The salmon was good, but the spinach was over-salted, the steak was over-cooked, and their "sauteed" mushrooms obtained no sear because they were obviously canned in brine before the cooking process.

It was quite crowded when we arrived , but seating was pretty fast. Everything on the menu looked good, but I chose the shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes. Both were fantastic!

Great little dining spot in the middle of nowhere. Food was great. Restaurant was packed at lunch, but the line moved quick. It was good. Staff was friendly.
