Purchased a GroupOn for this place...I am from Greenwood...a little drive but I like trying different places out of the ordinary... Lapel is a small town...a 3-stop-sign town. The restaurant is even smaller...I say, restaurant...it is a bar setting but serves some of the best food Ive tasted. I took my girlfriend. Ive learned that in unknown places like this, you ask what is the special for that day or for the place as a whole. That day it was home-made lasagna. Just so happens, lasagna is my favorite food. My girlfriend got her favorite food, nachos. She also got an alcoholic drink and thought it was tasty...not too sweet and just enough hint of alcohol. During our wait, we had 3 LCD TVs to watch as well as watching the Karaoke DJ setup his equipment...it was Karaoke Night. We were told by the waitress that everything about the lasagna is made in-house and that it takes 15-20 minutes to prepare. It came and I was delighted. The flavor was wonderful. The breadsticks were fantastic also. My girlfriends nachos were great as well...and the portion sizes were just crazy. We ended up having to get two boxes to go. Our GroupOn was for $20...and with two dinners and an alcoholic drink, we were still shy of that mark by 4 or 5 dollars. We were told about their home-made chocolate chip cookies...and got two orders to go. While we were sitting relishing the meal me just had, the owner stopped by our table and talked about the menu. It seems as though this place has some interesting upgrades and ideas in store for the future including an expanded menu of home-made items. They do a pretty good business in carry-out pizza, during our meal I saw about a dozen orders picked up...and most of them were carrying two boxes. A nice place to go to eat very well-made food.

Awesome pizza! They also have hot wings that are oven baked and not deep fried. Oven baked is the only way to go here! The wing were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! The sauce was just the icing on the cake! I highly recommend it!

The food is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome, the drink specials are awesome, they even have some awesome singers who show up on Wednesdays for karaoke. Its always a fun time at Mardi Gras! Dont play yourself...go check it out
