I ate at the Anderson Bob Evans on 5/13/12 (Mothers Day) around 3:00 pm, the restaurant was about 1/2 full. I was hoping to enjoy an apple chicken spinach salad as I was recovering from a surgery and needed a good healthy meal (spinach mostly) to build myself back up. I was also of course hoping to have a nice highlight to what had been a rough mothers day weekend. What I was served though was VERY disappointing, the spinach was old, soggy and rather disgusting. If this were in my fridge I would have put it in the compost bin. The waitress was very nice and apologetic however I received far less empathy from the manager on duty, I felt as if she didnt believe me that the spinach was bad, even though it was right in front of her. She simply said she would "check" their spinach in the back of the house, I dont believe she even apologized. The customer shouldnt have to tell the manager when inappropriate food is being served. I did eat the chicken, she must have thought I got my "moneys worth" since she only comped my beverage. Extremely disappointing and I will not be eating there again anytime soon.

My wife orders here regularly. Take out that is. A month ago, my wife went to get our take out order (turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes etc). Gets home, our one slice of turkey dressing potatoes and green beans are drowning in gravy. I call, manager says to come back and theyll make it right. So now I go back, he makes it right with some cookies that I didnt want nor ate. Ordered again tonight, guy at the counter to assist me must not be able to read. Anyways 8 is when I was supposed to pick up my order. I had to tell the guy 3 times for the rolls, made a mocha drink when it was supposed to be cake and a sweet tea, didnt have no green beans, no bacon for the breakfast so after all was said and done it was 817pm and I came home with 11 different containers for individual items they forgotten. My money will not ever be spent here again

My family ordered carry out this evening a little before 6. It said the order would be ready at 6:10. I arrived shortly after that time and proceeded to wait 50 minutes before I had my food and walked out the door. In that 50 minutes I watched a man pick up an order and bring it back not once but twice because it was incorrect. I attempted to get my money back but by that time the food was coming out one thing at a time. Naturally when I arrived home the food was cold. All the while the manager completely ignoring the fact that food was not coming out in a timely manner. Never again will i patronize this restaurant. I will be writing corporate and email to share my below par experience. Not only did they ruin my dinner but my entire family is in a bad mood because of it. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

We came here too Anderson to bowl in mens state tournament. We have been too alot of Bob Evens for Breakfast lunch and dinner and never been too 1 were we disappointed with. Anderson in. Bob Evans We waited too be seated, no one was there too seat us. The Lady Manger was hollering to 1 of waitresses instead of taking it some where private. Thats was not the worst part, she then ( the Manger) while we were still standing there too be seated. Looked over at us several times and seen us still there and did nothing but kept talking too a customer. Needless to say we left and had breakfast some place.

Used to be my go to but the menu has been stripped down throughout the years. Since the addition of the broasted chicken (which my bf got and it was sitting in a literal pool of grease) they finally got rid of the last things that I eat here for dinner. I will only visit for breakfast now. Lost a very loyal customer. Edit: literally will not eat here again. I left without ordering as nothing on the menu looked appetizing(again a menu strip took off what I liked) and the caramel mocha that I came for was watered down and lacking any flavor but coffee. Yuck.

We got seated pretty quickly but then sat there for about 20 minutes while the people around us got waited on. I also asked for a booster seat for my son and never received that. So I got up to leave asked for the manager and told them what happened and she just said Im sorry and looked at me. Ended up leaving with two crying kids because they were hungry. Very disappointed. I understand sometimes it can be busy but they didnt even take a drink order.

Decided to go to Bob Evans at Anderson. All our order was wrong, ALL wrong. The waitress had the wrong meal down for my mother, rolls instead of biscuits, wrong sides, and I did the three course meal and did it all separately instead of the meal and it was charged wrong! Not the first time to be disappointed at this one, last few times the food wasnt good but now the service is declining. Wont be back until things are straightened up.

Went there last night to pick-up a meatloaf dinner. I waited 25-30 minutes. I could have plated it in a few minutes. Not that hard to cut a piece of meatloaf, add some mashed potatoes & some carrots. I had asked for gravy on the potatoes. They forgot it, but the guy who waited on me went back & had gravy added. Servers & a manager kept asking about it at the window near the kitchen. I will not go back.

My salad was good but my boy had pancakes and they werent cooked all of the way. Our service was terrible, the one waiter got dressing on his fingers he just locked them off and never washed his hands the other waiter was picking his ear while serving he also didnt wash. There is so much more that im not going ro a bob evans again.

Just had lunch here. Worst experience ever at a bob Evans. Waited 15 min. For server. Didnt get our water for another 20 min. More than 45 total wait for food. Pot roast hash dinner. Very little meat a lot of fat and grissel some of potato was not cooked enough. Eggs were way over cooked. Long time before we return.

This is a hit or miss Bob Evans. Sometimes the food and service are outstanding, other times it leaves a lot to be desired. The store is also either very clean or really messy. Overall, it is a decent Bob Evans.

Our wateries Angie was very awesome and was getting what we needed even though there was a lot of us and still helping out the other customers in the restaurant. I would definitely come back here again. :)

Our waiter, Taylor, was personable and attentive. Cant beat the Deep Dish Chicken Noodle Dinner from Bob Evans! Now if we can only get "Bob" to start serving adult beverages... Cheers!!!!!!

Worst experience ever. Orders were wrong, food super greasy, took half an hour to get appetizers, took 45 minutes to get coffee refills. No condiments, no service, no repeat customer.

Excellent. My waitress was Amanda and she was superb. Management needs to give her a bonus ... My baked salmon I had with broccoli and carrots and salad was prepared perfectly..
