Went here with family on a Saturday evening before playing a show at the nearby Riverstage. The place was quite crowded, but we were able to find a seat relatively quickly (its a self-service seating arrangement, so dont wait around for a host(ess) to seat you). The server (who was great) came up to our table almost immediately and informed us that it would be at least 45 minutes to get food. This seemed like a long wait, but we had about an hour and 15 minutes until we needed to leave, so it seemed reasonable. The drink orders were taken quickly (and arrived a few minutes later), but then we had a long (20 minute) wait until our server (he was great, but very busy) was able to come back to take our food order. We had to leave (without food) at 8:15 (we were initially seated at 6:55), but we had a member of our party stay to grab the food. We talked to our server and he said it was no problem to get it To-Go, and the bar provided 4 complimentary beers for our designated food grabber while he waited. If 4 beers seems like a lot, its because the food wasnt ready until 9:30. Over 2 hours after we ordered, and 2:30 hours after we were seated. On top of that, several things (one kids meal, sauces for several meals, and side dishes) were either left off or forgotten. This wasnt realized until around 11pm (after we finished our performance and were able to eat our cold, soggy, fried food.

Today was our second attempt at cluckers...the first time we went we got horrible service and when the order did come out it was WRONG but we ate the overpriced/subpar chicken sandwich because waited so long for it! So we decided today to give it the benifit of the doubt and try it again. So we went today and they were so disorganized with their seating that they were seating some people and telling other customers to seat themselves. So after being seated we waited 10 minutes before anyone coming to get our drink order...then we waited another 10 minutes for her to come back and take our order! Our order was simple a bbq bacon chicken quesadilla and a fish sandwich. She tells us its going to be 20 minutes for us to get our food. They were busy so that seemed reasonable but after over a hour we still had not gotten our food. When i asked her how much longer it would be she came back and said it would be another 10 minutes!!! It does not take that long to make 1 fish sandwich and 1 quesadilla! We told them cancel the order! We will never ever go back!!! The worst service, the food last time was ok...if you are impressed with a bagged frozen chicken thats been deep fried. I couldnt tell you about this time because we never got our food! Im telling you we will never ever go back here again! I would urge you to go somewhere else and not waste your money here!!!

Update 7/29: Another bad experience! 1hr 50mins for wings... Many upset customers, Mark the Manager, ”all I can do is apologize" aka I dont need your business... This is disappointing, I am sorry to everyone who has to work at this place... Usually great service, today was not good at all. Waited nearly an hour for food then was told it would be 20 to 30 minutes more. They were busy but, for wings!? Kids were getting restless so Decided to leave. Past a customer who was seated at the same time.... They had already eaten and were getting their bills. Talked to the manager and he didnt really care at first but apologized when I asked for the owners contact info. Update: Tried to give this another shot. We came in and waitress said seat your self. There was really no table configuration that would work for 5 and a high chair. The staff watched us try to make it a small table work but it wouldnt. They said nothing and watched us leave. I called the manager to oet him know what happened and he said "sorry about that." Thanks for your concern. There plenty of good places in Jeff to eat at. We will spend our money elsewhere.

As an employee of cluckers, And viewing some of the reviews, I must say, some of you dont get it. Its really just a bar under the facade of a resturaunt, Seriously. What kind of service would you expect? I mean, the servers even drink on the job. And the chicken is the toughest thing youll ever eat, And honestly i wish more people would know that all the food theyre paying WAY too much for is all picked up at GFS, Really, It is, every single piece of inventory is from there. and dont get the mild, Its just the hot mixed with lots of butter, i think thats gross. And you Reaaallly get the feeling its not a real resturaunt when all the kitchen employees have no uniform of any kind, To get ready for work: I put my shoes on, thats it. And its also the ONLY resturaunt ive worked at that the cooks are paid minimum wage. Ridiculous. I mean its easy work, but jeez it gets stupid busy. Bottom line, Dont eat here. Unless you want some alcohol in the process, Youre paying way too much for generic food and will probably wait far too long for it.

We are at this Cluckers location 2-3 times a week and the other night was the worst experience. Our food ticket got lost and I kept hearing the waitress saying I never got it. She came and told us our food would be up shortly would you like to speak to a manager. Of course we said yes. Brandon (not sure if its correct spelling) came out and said he was sorry but they had been busy all day and our food would be out shortly. I told him I heard the waitress tell the kitchen that she never received our order and he said well maybe but they had been busy ( at the time there were only 3-4 tables with people at them). He stood there and lied to us and then said he would take care of it ( Which he didnt, but thats not what we were trying to get either) and as we were still trying to talk to him he walked away and we never seen him the rest of the night. Very unprofessional!!

You will die of old age before you actually get service here. The entire restaurant is full, and not a table has food on it, a ton of employees refilling drinks and promising food any minute. Kitchen full of teenagers. Its like a fake restaurant, or the twilight zone, Im on candid camera I swear. Just eat in Louisville until this side of the river figures out customer service. EDIT: We got our food, it was... well... fried to death. I was charged 50 cents for requesting No Bacon. Waitress says she couldnt find a manager to remove the charge and to take it out of her tip. Yuuup.

One thing I work there for a month and a half and the whole entire time I hated it 1 thing that got to me the most was when people would accidentally drop the chicken they would pick it up throw it in the fryer and serve it to you second I did not receive proper training before cooking with the Friars third its unorganized messy disgusting in and A very bad place to work forth there was no grilled chicken left so one of our workers Noah went back to the kitchen and grab grilled chicken from 5 days ago and served it in a salad I recommend you never eat there quite disgusting
