We sat in the restaurant/family side rather than the bar. My wife got the fried chicken sandwich and I got a petite sirloin meal. I was happy with the food and everything was cooked to our liking. It is bar food and was nothing particularly memorable, but again, it is a bar diner. Service was absolutely exceptional. Our waitress was very attentive, and I wish I could recall her name to commemorate her, but Id imagine nearly everyone in this tiny town knows who the great waitresses are here. Our food was also done very quickly, especially given that it was a packed NFL playoff night. So again, the food is nothing to write home about, the service is great, and its probably one of the better experiences youll have at a restaurant at this price in Douglas/Saugatuck. We were out-of-towners during the winter months and were glad we went!

My wife and I ordered Hamburgs,Both came to the table charcoaled.French fries were cold and limp,Chips tasted like fish!Pitcher of beer was way overpriced 8.00 for 4 8oz glasses.Hamburgs were 7.00 ea.Wouldnt have minded if they would have been good!We have stopped here several times before while on the road ....No complaints!This time the food was horrible : (

Ordered the special today a Philly wrap, I could school the cook on the proper way to cook this the onions and peppers where cut huge and barely cooked the deli beef seemed like it was microwaved instead of putting it all on the flat top and grilling it until the onions and peppers are soft come on it cant be that hard to figure out what actually tastes good

The hamburgers are great I had the Hot Lava burger & my son had the Western burger $9.99. Son #2 had the Hot Lava wrap $8.50, he said it was great. My wife had the Cherry Chicken Salad $10.99. She said the lettuce was wilted & turning brown. The service is excellent, our waitress didnt hover over us like a predator or neglected us.

Great busy sports bar, American fare, burgers, nachos, steaks, and some of the best ribs I have ever had! Lively, well lit but not obnoxiously so, great staff, and service is usually fast depending upon business. Good portions, if you walk away hungry its your own fault.
