Decided that it was finally time to try First Watch. Being a typical breakfast/brunch joint they close at 2:30pm so typically I miss it as I really enjoy a small thing called sleep on my days off. Today, finally, the day has come. When walking in, the decor is nothing but ordinary. Nothing screams "were cool". But you eat at a place for the food, right? We were seated promptly as we arrived at 1:30pm and they werent busy at all. After a 5 minute wait, which allowed us to cruise the pretty basic menu (no drink yet) our server returned to take our order. I went with the pretty boring Tri-Fecta with bacon and & waffle. Our server seems anything but super friendly, but isnt rude either. Hes just ok. Price wise its pretty decent. Most dishes range between $7-9. When our food came out (which was pretty quick...about 10 min) I noticed that you got $7 worth of food. The eggs were good and covered in cheese. The waffle was light and fluffy. What made me the most sad is only two strips of bacon. And the bacon was good too. When the bill came, it saddened me that the cheese that I added cost $1.39, $0.49 seems more reasonable...bit whatever, Id still add it. All in all it would be better with better service but the food isnt bad so that makes up a little for the service.

False advertising. Nothing here is fresh. The eggs are liquid eggs and come from a carton. The chicken they have is cooked, not grilled. Previously frozen and comes from a bag and taste nasty! Their sauces and soups are frozen and are heated up in bags. Their "fresh greens" are slimmy and wilted. Their bacon is fresh, at 6:00 a.m then put into a metal pan and heated up on the grill when ordered, and their potatoes are previously frozen and soaked in water until cooked. And last but not least they claim their orange juice is "fresh squeezed ", it is from a gallon jug. None of their juices are fresh. So if you want "real fresh food". This is not the place to eat. Terrible food, terrible management. Brenda Armstrong is the worst!! They let homeless people come in and harrass the guest for money. The hostess jackie is sooo getto! She came in with a nasty infection on her arm that could have easily spread to other employees and they let her work like that! Worst place ive ever been too! They claim to be farm to table? They actually mean frim bag to table! Not worth the money you will spend here!

I love First Watch. Ive been dining here since they opened and they never fail to exceed expectations. The food is healthy and fresh and always prepared perfectly. The servers are a cut above, the best in town. Theyre genuine and down to earth and speak to what is good about central Indiana. At the same time, they are also sophisticated enough to pick up on whats important and offer suggestions to make our dining experience even better. Count on it. In a town where dining experiences often disappoint, I cant say enough about how much I like First Watch.

Waiting line for on a breakfast cafe assured me that I am at the right place on a cold sunday morning in downtown indianapolis.. Yes, the 15 min wait was worth it, great high quality food, excellent customer service, great ambience to kick start the day, i would like to thank Andrew who understood our need and picked off menu item "killer kajun omlet".. Strongly recommended.. It was really a killer!! Dont know why it isnt on the menu! unlimited fresh brew coffee and juices!! Thank you First Watch!!

Iced coffee tasted like it was from a carton. It was syrupy and thick rather then light and creamy like youd expect. For breakfast I had the BLT eggs benedict and it was seriously unimpressive. The eggs were overcooked. The hollandaise was under seasoned and there was not nearly enough. The avocado on top was brown and unappetizing. The dish was supposed to be served with a side of lightly dressed greens but the greens I was served were soggy and drowning in dressing. Overall I was very disappointed.

Had tried to have breakfast at Milktooth but the wait was too long. Got to First Watch just before a wait period started there. Enjoyed the food but not the fake creamer available for tea and coffee. Seems like a restaurant that touts "fresh" should have cream for milk and tea. At the very least whole milk not the 1% I was offered. I did like have a pot of hot water that actually stayed hot through the meal. Our server was very pleasant. Im sorry I dont remember her name.

It is a nice atmosphere and nice place to get a jump on your morning or meet with a professional acquaintance. The service was efficient. The prices are inflated even for downtown dining 9.79 for a single biscuit with gravy, 2 eggs, and fried potatoes and onions. 4.29 for a side of bacon consisting of 4 pieces, 2.69 for cofee. All of the food was well prepared except for the soggy fried potatoes and onions. All in all not a bad breakfast spot but not recommended.

Nice breakfast food place that I feel is just a bit better than Le Peep. Its great for lunch or breakfast, though it does fill up during the lunch hour. Ive had the Chickichanga and the eggs benedict, and both were good. Id pick the Chickichanga over the eggs benedict, though. The eggs benedict were good, but they dont blow you away like ones with a good hollandaise sauce do. Ive always had good service here and would recommend it for breakfast foods.

Incredible breakfast. Cinnamon chip pancakes absolutely blew my mind first thing in the morning. Everything there is organic and whole grain which normally I dont really care about but it was a nice change and very tasty for it. I thought it was cool that they left the water carafe and the coffee pot on the table for you to help yourself to. Definitely stop here if youre looking for breakfast in the heart of the city.

This is a standard First Watch chain restaurant. Stayed here for the Gen Con convention and got great service the few days that I was here. Wait staff was quick, service was consistent with other restaurants as well. Nothing really special to note about this location. If you like First Watch, you will get a great experience here.

A diverse selection of food, exotic, even, compared to other diners and cafes. Great place for a healthy, wholesome breakfast. I would give 5 stars but I think they gave me the wrong omelet yesterday but anyway Im back so that tells you I did like it here. Fresh cream with the coffee would be a nice touch.

Friendly staff, delicious food, excellent prices! I had the Acapulco omelette - omg amazing. Although more California flavored than Mexican, it was still delicious. And Im from south Texas, so Im a little biased on Mexican food. ❤ I will be back before I leave town.
