I went to the zukis downtown. The place looked nice when we walked in but a server sat us at a hibachi table in the back where another lady and child were already sitting. The lady asked us if we asked to sit in the back and we said no. Then a server came out and when he heard us ordering sushi he was mad and said we have to order hibachi.*** he was a hibachi cook*** finally the lady that was already there said she was getting it too so it would be OK. They didnt know how to make drinks. They didnt bring our food on time and when we got our bill they overcharged us. I finally went to ask for a manager and met some guy with long grey hair and glasses who basically told me everything was my fault. He wouldnt even reduce the bill. The other couple who went to eat with us left the money that the restaurant was owed and even tipped the rude hibachi guy 25$. As they left 4-5 zuki staff went to the parking lot and told them not to leave and they were calling the cops. Zukis did actually call the police because people refuses to pay their overcharged bill. I tried to contact the original Zukis about this but the phone was never answered. I will never eat at any of their locations again.

Went here on a date on a Sunday afternoon. I love sushi and have it often, but always want to order some cooked rolls before raw just to see if its trust worthy. We did the hibachi thing and I ordered 2 cooked rolls. When we were seated I noticed my fork had a piece of dried rice stuck to it, my plate was visibly dirty on the top surface and and the bottom also had lots of dried up rice stuck to it. These had clearly been "cleaned", but not anywhere near well enough to eat off of. I started drinking out of the water the waitress brought me, and noticed it had food floating in it immediately after my first sip. The waitress noticed and apologized and took the cup back. I already felt disgusted. The sushi rolls arrived and were mediocre at best. The cleanliness of everything did not inspire me to order a raw roll. When our hibachi chef came, he was entertaining but dropped his utensils while flipping them around many times, to the point of it being awkward. The hibachi food was decent, but didnt make up for the rest of the experience. All in all our experience there made a good story to tell, but not for any good reasons. I would not recommend Zuki.

Called and made a reservation for a group meeting. I arrived 15 minutes before to get everything set up. No host to be seen, 3 servers stood in front of us chatting but never acknowledged us. I even asked one if we could be seated after we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. She said the host was doing a togo order, and they werent allowed to seat. We waited another 10 minutes, still no host. So we left and went to Raffertys. I cant comment on the food, but the service is absolutely horrible. I was in there for 45 minutes waiting to be seated, to only be acknowledged by the person I directly spoke to. I called back the next day to talk to management, as I figured this was something they would want to know about. He told me he didnt believe me, called me a ******** liar, and hung up on me. We have 16 other witnesses, and we are 17 people who will never step foot inside of a Zuki because of your management, and lack of service. You not only lost out on the money for dinner ($630 at Raffertys) but on future business and reputation here as well.

First of all this is meant not for the food this is meant for what my daughter and grandson experienced while waiting for a grill table to be ready .You had a very HIGHLY INTOXICATED EMPLOYEE !!!!!! As we waited he was falling into the walls , stumbling ,dropping utensils and if we saw this I know the rest of staff saw this .We were told that night 7/03/16 5:30 they were understaff ,we understood that .BUT!!!! My family and the other patrons did not need to see this employee INTOXICATED ....as we were seated he was setting up another table and dropped all his utensils and napkins picked them up and preceded to set table ,another patron told the hostess and someone took him to the back. While I know your food is outstanding and my family loves coming to ZUKIS we will be hesitate to return .This was bad for your establishment .....

walked in, was taken to a small area, not busy at all. one other couple in the small room we were taken to. gave order for 2 sushi rolls dragon and spider, a tower of sushi and 3 tunas, asked the waiter for spicy mayo, he brought our order no mayo, brought the rest out to us we asked again if we could get some, brought out very tiny saucer with just a thin coating in bottom of it, sushi rolls were half sized but for full top price of a whopping 50 dollars for 6 bites of sushi, what a scam. place wasnt clean, sorta run down. and waiter spent more time chatting with his co workers than waiting on the 2 tables he had. wont go back ever and wont recommend to anyone, stay away from this fake sushi place

HORRIBLE. They have just recently opened a new location and after I ordered my chicken fried rice from them (which is now HALF of what the portion size used to be), I called them back after wondering why I was robbed of my dinner and they responded with "yeah Joe, the owner, told the cooks to decrease serving sizes by half and were going to increase the price here and at the new location." I never much liked the owner (Joe) due to much of the shady and immoral things I have heard about the man but this is seriously a new low...I will NEVER EVER recommend this horrible restaurant to anyone and will warn as many as possible about their repulsive and shady business tactics.

VERY slow service. Priced like an upscale restaurant, food and service were poor. Inside of restaurant was run down. Vegetables were wilted and bland, appeared to be old. Waited a very long time for soup. Salad came right before the food after another very long wait. Salad dressing tasted like straight mayonnaise. Tariaki chicken came without sauce (just grilled chicken), small rice portions for all. Our small child was finished eating before we got the ketchup for her food. Most of the meal was spent without drinks as refills were few and far between. One last long wait for the check. We will NEVER make that mistake again.

Never again. I got there at 12:10 placed my to go order with someone who obviously was having a bad day. I sat down and waited. I understand its lunch time and busy. However there were 3 tables that came in while I was waiting that were seated. All of which ordered and were served their food while I waited for my to go order. Finally at 12:50 I asked the hostess if she could please find out how much longer it would be. Her response was to roll her eyes and turn to walk off. Finally after 50 mins of waiting I got my food. I was late getting back to work. And to top it off my rice and egg roll was cold..
