Ive eaten at all sorts of various "Chinese" food places. All their menus are about the same old thing you find at the hundreds of other ones, but each one has their perks. No two of them cook their dishes alike. One in Peru,IN has the best General Tsos chicken Ive tasted. Another in Kokomo, IN has the best crab ragoon. I would say that so far, the Long River in Franklin, IN prepares their Boneless Spare Ribs very well. Its your typical Chinese food restaurant other than that. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to really brag about either. As for mention of price, their pricing is no different than any of the other Chinese chain restaurants. If you are worried about pricing, buy your own supplies, use Google to find a recipe, and cook it at home.

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Franklin. They offer a great variety of delicious food at reasonable prices. Their portions are very fair and their staff is extremely friendly. They also deliver. Honestly, I cant find any major faults in this place. Ive never had an issue. The only thing I can even imagine people complaining about is that there isnt much seating there, but no one seems to eat there and mostly carry out food. I recommend this place if you like commonly offered Chinese dishes at fair prices.

I used to love this place... but lately the quality has gone down hill. The last three times Ive gone Ive paid for combo dishes with chicken, beef and shrimp and having had ANY shrimp in them. Since I get take-away, its difficult to complain because Im not going to drive the 15 minutes back across town to take it back. Really disappointing because the food used to be good and you got what you paid for. Im going to start going to the chinese place up by Kroger.

Looks like your typical cookie cutter Chinese restaurant, but the food is not. The food is excellent, we have tired a wide variety of items and each one is prepared very well, among my favorite is the Mongolian beef and the popular generals chicken. Very quick on service and very friendly staff, this is by far the best place to get Chinese in Franklin.

The food came out quick I will give them that. But I was ashamed to see their son who couldnt have been older than 10 preparing the food such as packaging the egg rolls and other foods. The food was very dry and did have much flavor. We wont be going back especially having their child work like that!

First there would be no Fair- it would ONLY be Poor, Prices outrageous, Food is well Im not really sure but Im pretty sure its NOT food. Also for the love of god if you want it delivered I would order it an HOUR before youll really want it cause thats about how long it will take.
