The physical space itself very cool. Nice vibe as they had several tvs showing Olympics and playing reggae music. IPA session was quite good. Mexi cali beer was awful. Worse than any true Mexican beer I ever had. Wheat beer pretty good. They were out of a few Danny Boy beers I world have liked to try. Fact that its located in a nice community and off beaten path required it to differentiate itself with other local breweries. It kind of did at first, but the buzz kill was the bartender. She seemed as if she was being troubled when ordering a beer (did offer samples to try which was helpful). Highly recommend finding bartenders that are happy when customers come in. Especially those that had never been there looking for a good LOCAL beer stop. Having quality brew important. Sure is. But feeling welcomed and wanting to hang out for the afternoon because of quality service equally important. Just wasnt the case today. They can up their game with friendlier waitstaff...would have hung out longer...

Nice choice of craft beers in a friendly, neighborhood environment. They have their own, on-site brewed beers, plus a selection from other breweries. Also a limited selection of wine and liquor. We enjoy stopping in when we are walking around the Village. During warm weather, their outdoor seating areas are dog-friendly. They have some family-friendly seating areas, but this is not really a place for young kids (and that is probably a good thing). Food is minimal at best, and thats an ongoing disappointment. The menu contains a few appetizer items, but none of the usual bar food that you might expect. Their flat breads are rather horrid. They try to use local food trucks provide some grub, and the pizza shop across the street will deliver. If they ever decide to offer burgers and other pub items, they will become one of our favorite spots.

Cool, industrial vibe to the place. Great beer. Got a flight. Thoroughly enjoyed each. Walking around, I noticed they had a whole bunch of kegs, so I inquired about purchasing one, and they are, in fact, for sale! Ended up going home with a 5-gallon barrel of Rock N Rolla. Delicious. Im still leaving it at 5 stars, but we went at a very busy time (*Note: This was the weekend following St. Patricks Day), as the place was packed! We noticed the upstairs area was empty and asked to go up there. We were told by the staff that it wasnt open. Not a huge deal, but it seemed like they werent staffed properly to handle the crowd they received.

Gave this place another chance... Last time we did not have a smooth experience but this time was much better. First, we were greeted by a manager when we walked in (!). Second, service was very prompt and our server was very pleasant (Asian looking kid). Third, food was OK. Menu is not the best due to it being mostly pizzas but it IS a brewery... In the middle of our appetizers, manager came back to check on us and introduced herself. She was very professional and knew her role well. Looks like this place is heading into a better direction. We will be back, keep up the good work

Wide selection of beers for both the connoisseur and the less adventurous palate. As well as their own excellent news, they have a great selection of guest beers. Although, its being a while since Oskar Blues Old Chub made a visit. Im partial to their "Keg Killer" and "Take Me To Church". The friendly bar staff will help you out and offer a taster if youre unsure. The patio is dog friendly. Its a great spot to catch Champions League soccer when, inevitably, sorrows must be drowned. Food selection is limited by nicely supplemented by Greeks Pizzeria across the street.

The location is a little surprising, but fits the area nicely. The interior styling has a very modern and industrial feeling, which I liked. The big doors let a nice breeze in and helps keep it cool during hot days. There are about 40 beer choices on tap and many of them unique. Our group had a few samples as well as quite a few pints. We also shared a few appetizers: Pretzel Bites and Pub Nachos. Both were pretty good, but maybe a little bit pricey for the size. Unique dipping sauces are a nice touch and added some extra flavors to plain pretzels.

Good beer. Glad to have an establishment like this to anchor the retail/commercial center of the Village of West Clay. Food is so-so, but then you come here for the beer, right? Service is OK, with a couple of quirks. They only take credit cards, which I guess is OK in 2015, but they swipe a card to run a tab like some kind of college town dive bar. Overall, its good to have Danny Boy here, and it gets an extra star for venturing into west Carmel. In Broad Ripple or Mass Ave, this place gets 2.5 stars.

Spur of the moment decision to stop in for dinner and a couple of beers. Nice beer menu featuring everything from ultra light ale to dark Scottish ale, all brewed here. Had the Johnny Quid American IPA, very nice, palatable brew and their hot ham and cheese. Food was very good, service was prompt and friendly, no waiting, server was engaging, buss staff cleared tables at appropriate time. Definitely worth a return trip if in this area.

Absolutely awful beer and service. It was so bad we took a few sips of the beer and left. Dont let the positive reviews fool you- they actively seek out bad reviews and delete them. There are better breweries in Indy! Our beer was flat and the customer service was nonexistent. Seriously, dont waste your time.

Beer and food is good, but service is poor. Bartender was unattentive and we had to wait a while before we were even greeted or asked what we wanted. Food served was lukewarm; you could tell it had been sitting there for a little while. Probably wont come back for a long time. Needs better service.

Beer is really good(but arent they all tho). Lot of choices and have a half and half beer menu. Full bar of liquor which I like. They got busy and the staff could not keep up. Took awhile to to get this VA done. I had the meat platter and it was fine but not knock my socks off.

A tap house with a good industrial atmosphere, fast service and knowledgeable bartenders. They have a fair amount of a their own brews as well a good number of featured guest taps. My favorite is the wicked hoppy wheat, it is a smooth wheat with a hoppy finish.

You can find fancier breweries. You can find more eclectic breweries. But if youre on the hunt for a brewery that has a solid line up of IPAs, Stouts, and golden malty goodness, then you might have just found your next favorite, neighborhood hangout.

Came here and got a flight. Waiter mixed them up and didnt know what was what. 30 minutes later... the Waiter still hadnt come back. A new Waiter came and I asked for checks. Not impressed. Very willing to talk to the manager if he wants details.
