BWB Quaff ON! has such a lovely, quaint atmosphere in downtown Bloomington, IN with the best creative culinary kitchen staff, wait staff and knowledgeable beertenders! And their food? Keeps you coming back for more! I recommend starting off with their pulled pork nachos or if you want the best wings in Bloomington try the Bomber Wings. WOW! BWB has a smoker on premises in which they have above & beyond mastered: The spicy chicken dinner...winner, winner! Now lets talk about the beer. Their selection of drafts is out of this world. Offering everything from a blueberry sour to Warlock pumpkin to their own Crosshare double IPA (personally my favorite is the HareTrigger IPA). Big Woods rotates their beer menu often always leaving room for new tastings and pairings, yet they always have some staples! There is nothing like enjoying this cool weather with friends and family out in the BWB Beer Garden, which was just constructed earlier this year. You can play board games, card games, enjoy a game of oversized Jenga or just kick back and relax with a cool draught beer in hand listening to live music. There is also a Beer Garden menu so you can enjoy your QO! beer with an amazingly gooey 4 cheese grilled cheese sandwich. I had been here several times since it opened and it was consistently the worst service for a decent restaurant in B-town (meaning food is good, beer is good, place is nice, but slow, lazy, apathetic service every time we went [literally, every time]). We finally just stopped going and removed it from our list of "places we go." We had heard it was maybe under new management or something so decided to go again. Service was quick and good! It was so bad before I though maybe it was a one-off. We decided to go again to be sure. Great again! Weve been back several times and its been nothing but great! The service has done a 180* turn around and the food and beer is excellent!

What happened guys? This place used to be great. Got rid of the BLT and today was just terrible. The mashed potatos with cheese was literally a mashed potato with cheese sprinkled on it. No salt or butter or cream of any sort just a mashed up plain potato with cheese. The ribs at chilis are better than what i had today and chilis ribs suck. This is the second time i have been disappointed as of late and at 50 bucks a pop for me and my girlfriend(who loved the BLT) we both decided we wont be back. If you step things back up and we hear good things from others we might try again someday.

The food here is always delicious. Quaff On beers are fine and the ever-rotating selection of others on tap is nice to have. Both food and beer are on the pricier side. The outdoor beer garden is a great addition (but limited food and drink outside and no table service, just so you know you need to go up to the cash register by the bar to order). There is also outdoor seating on the patio. There is often live music. The Bloomington Beer Runners meet here at 6pm every Thursday for a short social run (30-45 min) and then hang out/have dinner afterward (all are welcome to join).

Prepare to wait an hour or so for walkins during busy times. However the wait is so long, people will often sign up and leave giving up on waiting. Prices are kind of high, but that is expected of Bloomington. Good beer selection. Some of the food is good, a lot of it is just average. For example, the pulled pork nachos are quite good even though they are microwaved. Also be aware that if you come later, they could run out of certain dishes. Service is good.

We just left ordered the tenderloin. It was served to us black. Burnt. Sent it back, came back to us again not brown. But black like the oil hasnt been changed . The worst tenderloin I have ever ever seen the 2 worst food I have ever been served. The Manger did offer us a free replacement meal of something diff we declined and went somewere diff HOW did the kitchen let someone serve a compleaty burnt black tenderloin not once but twice too us????

I felt the service was superb. Our sever was very imfomative on the menu and various beers they are known for. No complaints there. Very chill, relaxed and quaint environment. I thought the food was delish, however, not the steep prices for steaks or all entrees. I would like to recommend anyone with variety in his or her tastes for brewery beer/craft beers, give the Woods (Quaff on) a visit!

The burger I had was amazing, but the waitress seemed to faking her peasant demeanor to the point of mocking. Her insincerity actually my bf and me uncomfortable. I had also came in months earlier alone and waited to be seated for 20 mins and never was. It wasnt particularly busy and I was the only one waiting. I tried to grab any employees attention, but they were unreachable.

Fun decor and cool layout. Love the garden area with the benches. Staff seems a little incompetent and disinterested in their jobs. I was there in the middle afternoon on a Saturday and despite being well staffed it took a very long time for me to receive the beer I ordered from the bar. All in all not a very great experience. I dont think Ill return.

Great place! Our server " Adrian" was fabulous, very knowledgeable on all the different beers.. I dont drink beer but he guaranteed me hed find one Id like, he did! The Founders brewing company "rubaeus " was really good! The burgers were cooked perfect and my Quinoa burger was the best Ive had yet! I would eat there again!! Great people!

This place has zero flexibility in seating and poor customer service. We tried to scoot 2 tables together for a bigger group and were basically told to leave. Its sad when management makes poor policies and staff has to enforce them. We wont be taking our company or personal meals to this poorly run establishment. ☹️

The environment is extremely homey and has a pleasant staff. Great brews and great menu, although it is lacking vegetarian/vegan options. They offer "protein" for meals but do not have tofu, tempeh or anything for non-meat eaters. Other than lack of veggie options, great place for a sit down family meal!

Beer selection is good. Service okay - sometimes. Prices on good beers are ridiculously high though. Went back on Sept.15 around 5:30, bartender was cold and unfriendly. Charged me for a 12 ounce beer in a 8 ounce glass. Management is lacking in training good bartenders. Beer at least still tasted very good.

Great food with a diverse menu. I have had hit and miss experiences with this bar and restaurant, sometimes 3 star, sometimes 5 star. The tables are all pretty close together -- not exactly an intimate setting. Great IPA on tap, and reasonable prices, but not what I would call cheap eats. Try that BLT :)

They always close an hour early even if there is still a crowd inside. I can only assume its because the staff want to go to Kilroys. The beer is good, the food is hit or miss - but always overpriced, but its their lazy business practices that make me spend my money elsewhere.
