On July 12th 2016 I ordered delivery to my house in Pittsboro at 3:30 P.M. On the dot. I was so excited to see that my favourite Chinese place delivered to my new neighbourhood and today was the day that I wanted to try that out! 4 oclock comes around... And then 4:30... And then 5 P.M... I understand places get busy, but an hour and a half for delivery on a Tuesday afternoon? So I call the restaurant, they pick up the phone and I explain to them that I I just wanted to know where the food was because it had been nearly 2 hours since I ordered... The lady who answered the phone asked what I ordered, In the middle of me telling her what we had, she started mixing English with Chinese while speaking with me and I thought she was talking to kitchen staff or something... Apparently she wasnt, and she put me on hold and left me on hold for five minutes until it hung itself up!!!! I then immediately called back and they decided not to answer the phone... Im very upset over this because this place was the ONLY Chinese place I loved eating at. I have lost all hope for this place, even after looking past the fact that the lady with the dragon tattoo on her wrist/hand is always VERY rude whenever I went in to order, which I assume is the same lady that I spoke to on the phone. Very sad... I shall tell my family and friends what happened today.

This is a solid choice in the Indy area for good quality Cantonese and Szechuan. Ive eaten at a lot of great places in Chicagos china town and while youre not going to get whole steamed snapper with black bean sauce, salt and pepper crab or to die for Gai Lan, you will get really really solid general tsos, lo mein and sweet and sour. The staff isnt going to wow you with their charm, but it appears to be a single family run restaurant that will load you up with hot, freshly cooked food that is nicely prepared. Id opt not to eat in as the place itself has all the charm of a run down dairy queen, but for carry out its perfect if you live on the NW side. Oh yeah, be patient with the girl answering the phone, her english suggests shes fob but she tries hard.

This is the last time I order from them, the food is only decent at best. I just ordered 1 minute ago. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and acted like she didnt even want to take my order. I gave her my order and my card informaiton and asked what the total was, she said there in 60 minutes and hung the phone up. They are just as rude in person when you go into the location. Me being lazy today, I didnt want to go out to get the food, I wanted it delivered. My mistake for the day I guess. This is the only place in Brownsburg that delivers Chinese food, so you are kind of stuck in that regard, but I wont be going back. Act like you want my business, dont treat me like I am nothing when you speak to me.

Such ignorance on the phone. Answered by a ten year old who acted like he could care less about anything I was saying and wasnt paying attention. I had to repeat myself three times for one order of mixed veggies . He said it would be ready in 10 minutes.... it was done in 15 and it was sitting out on the counter in the back and got cold before they brought it to me. I had to remind them my order was ready. How you can mess up mixed vegetables I dont know. It wasnt when busy!

I would give a less than 1 star if I could. Food has always been fine. Customer service is awful. I called for delivery, made the order, hung up. She called me back and berated me for being "too happy". Then said should she cancel my order bc I was "happy". She called me 2 times to berate me for no reason. I just wanted to order food. My apparent "happiness" got in the way. Ok food, but awful service. Good luck Ho Wah.

I prefer the general tsos chicken served at Ho Wah over that served at Asia Wok. We always get a lot of food for our money and it is always delicious! I have seen people conplain about the service, but I believe that a lot of that may be due to the differences between eastern and western cultures. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot!

Horrible. Ordered soup and a main course. Get it home and notice theres zero meat in it like we ordered and paid for. They would not give us a refund or give us a container of beef. Total rip-off. And the food that we got? The soup tasted like they washed last weeks dishes in it. The rest was bland and/or nasty. Dont waste your time or money.

Never again. If I wanted to get extorted to get food delivered Id get good food. 14.85 isnt enough and then she informed me Id need to order 16.00 worth because tax doesnt count. My store spends 100s there every month and they couldnt care less. Well just get Asia Wok instead. Cleaner food better service.

Food is always great! The entire family enjoys when its Ho Wah night. The food is always fresh & hot. Our take out order is always ready in 10 -15min. We have never had a bad experience & feel the shortness on the phone is due to possible language barrier. I can not rate on delivery cause take out is so fast.

Good made-to-order Americanized Chinese food. The fried rice was found to be nicely fried without excessive oil saturation. Other menu items are also good, and the menu is entertaining to read while you wait for your order. Dinning in or Carrying out are you options, here.

Worst Chinese food Ive ever had. Told us our large order would only take 5 minutes for pick up which makes sense since it tasted like food previously cooked over 4 hours ago. Disgustingly disappointed, please Dont eat there unless you feel like wasting your money

We have tried them twice and both times got sick, They were rude on the phone and my meal was not very good. If it werent for the food poisoning I wouldnt have said anything but they really should be inspected or shut down.

Its a little different from the average Chinese restaurant. They seem to get away from the over-sweetened, Americanized flavors. The dishes are a little more authentic. The prices are fair, and the staff was polite.

This is not a junkie, cheap, eat ice cream at the end of an MSG fest buffet. This is good take out at a reasonable price. Fast friendly and generally good. For Indiana, you could not ask for a better joint.

Beef and brocoli is awesome. We always ofer the same thing when we get take out. Beef and brocoli, General Tsos chicken, and Beef Lo Mein. Highly recommend this place for take out.

The food was good, its a little different than most Chinese places, but still pretty good. They could have been a little nicer over the phone, but overall was pretty tasty.

Low quality food. Its obvious the food is frozen and reheated. Orange chicken is tasteless mush while the lo mein needed rehydrating under a faucet. My meal was inedible.
