This place was awesome. Really charming decor--lots of personality--tin ceiling, red checked table cloths. Creamy garlic salad dressing was fresh and light--delicious. Deep-dish Chicago style pizza was amazing. The cheese blend was original and superb. The tomato sauce was rich and tomatoey and in perfect balance to the cheese. The crust was freshly mixed--a pastry type base. Everything had tons of flavor--the kind of place youre so happy youve found. This is the kind of place Wilmette has been lacking for a long time. The serving staff was relaxed and friendly. Wonderful for a date night or a family outing. The best. Highly recommended.

This place is great. I went here with my family, and everybody loved it! The salad is always fresh, (I was told they were bought at a local Farmers Market) and the pizza is very good. The deep dish is pretty good, but this place really shines at its thin crust. Its very crunchy, and the sauce is sweet, but tomato-ey. So, in review, get the margarita pizza and the house salad. You wont be disappointed!

Having severe gluten and dairy allergies, my family has some difficulties when eating at restaurants. However, at Big Tomato, the staff was able to provide a delicious meal for us, and with warmth and friendliness. The atmosphere is cozy and is romantic enough for a date, but with books and toys to borrow, a perfect spot for a family dinner. Will definitely eat here again!

My family orders Big Tomato at least 2-3 times a month. Great deep dish and the kids shaped pizzas are a big hit. They will even make special shaped pizzas to match a kids birthday party theme. Overall a great experience!

Terrific pizza with a friendly staff. They have studied the history of pizza preparation and elevated it to a tasty level with choice ingredients. The two for one pizza offer on Mondays cant be beat.

Excellent ma and pap pizzeria. I love that they add whole black olives to their pizza! Their house salad with creamy garlic dressing is the best! Friendly staff, great service, and byob!

Cute spot. Stumbled here on a cold winter night. The meatball sub was okay, but the highlight was the kids menu with dinosaur, bear, and butterfly shaped pizza.
