I attended Northwestern in the early 1908s and frequented Gullivers way back then. It was the best pizza I had ever tasted! Since then, I have been living in Michigan for the last 26 years and dont get to come over very often. I did come back last month for our classes 30th homecoming celebration and stopped by Gullivers again. The pizza is still the best I ever tasted! It was like traveling back in time - it seemed like nothing changed! The great staff, awesome décor and wonderful pizza was the perfect cherry on top to a wonderful weekend. To all deep dish pizza lovers everywhere --- YOU MUST STOP BY GULLIVERS!!!!!!! Keep up the great work and every time Im in Chicago, I will make it a point to stop by Gullivers!

I think for what it is, this place is great. If you want a pizza place to take the kids that is a nice alternative to cooking on Friday night, go here. They have a secret menu option- medium burnt cheese crust. Not kidding. If it sounds good, youll probably love it. The antiques everywhere are cute, and it is definitely visually stimulating and a conversation starter. The pizza is so good that I only go every few months, otherwise I would be eating waaaaaayyyy too much pizza.

if your partner likes antiques, you will need to watch him/her like a hawk. do not come near this tiffany-loving decorators paradise with lust in your eyes. you cant buy it. its the owners personal, over-the-top collection. just eat the excellent pizza and watch the game. kids are welcome. nachos can be had in various forms....but really, its the deep dish. corn meal crust style. good. minuses---the quality of the pizza sometimes varies, but its never bad.

Family favorite since the 60s I grew up down the street from here I believe some Time in the 70s or 80s they changed their pizza a little bit to accommodate the stuffed pizza trend which to me is the best deep-dish there is On par with other Chicago giants of pizza Family friendly environment in a very Rococo atmosphere The place is a shrine to all things Italian

My dad has brought me to place years ago when I was kid. Now as an adult I still come this place. The owners son has done of keeping his dads legacy going. The deep dish pizza is a must for all chicago style Pizza connoisseurs. Stay for the view of fine collectibles hang from the ceiling amd the walls.

Amazing pizza! One of the best pizzas Ive eaten. The location in the villa park area is very good, food included. This location just feels really authentic. The decor is awesome, you could spend an hour just looking at all the old decor all over the walls. Definitely recommend going!

The best deep dish pizza in Chicago, hands down. I highly recommend their Garbage Salad and deep dish pizza with sausage and spinach. The crust is buttery, light, and crisp, the sauce is more savory than your typical overly sweet tomato sauce, and the toppings are high quality.

My husband and I went there for pizza on our first date over 20 years ago, and had been enjoying their food until recently. It is now overpriced, the menu has shrunk, and the quality has gone downhill. Sad when a family cant afford to go to the local pizza place.

The pizza is great. Nothing else on the menu is even decent, except maybe the fajitas. Ive tried salads, nachos, salmon, pasta, and soups and nothing was decent except the pizza. And when their specials are for pitchers, beware that the pitchers are tiny!

Underappreciated! Delicious pizza, quality ingredients. Great patio eating when the weathers nice. Interior typical 70s dark. Service was mostly good, then I didnt see the guy for like 40 min when I was trying to get out of there. Oh well.

This place is NOT one of best dinners. The nachos were burnt with rubbery cheese. The pizza was bland. And the restaurant attempts to have a pirate theme, but its just weird and lightweight creepy. Never going there again

Weve eaten at Gullivers numerous times. The pizza is the best--I love the homemade sauce. And with all the statues, lamps, etc throughout the restaurant (and out) it makes for a fun game of "I spy" with kids.

gullivers always has consistently great pizza. the rest of the menu is good also but I always go for the deep dish pizza.its tomato-ey and the onions get dark and flavorful when you get them on pizza.

Food too plain.. Service below average.. Waiter dropped a fork by my table and just simply walked away without picking it up. We ate in patio area, plates all scratched up plastic.
