The food here is nice. Grilling is done on charcoal rather than gas and the result is a marked improvement in flavor for the meat. Side dishes are plentiful but forgettable. The spiciness is generally medium or medium-high at most. If youre used to spicy foods it will taste mild. Service is OK as theres nothing extraordinary but the waitress was attentive. The reason why its 3 stars is because the prices here are astronomical and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant and quantity of food did not match the cost. A bowl of tofu soup should never cost $12 with no additional qualities. There is no soda fountain so soft drinks are non refillable. In the summer the interior of the place gets quite warm. If were out of options we could return here in the future but its low on the list.

Fast, casual service in a family owned kind of atmosphere. Had some dumplings as an appitizer, Ive not had Korean style dumplings before and they were pretty good. We had the Bulgogi and it was fantastic. The condiments (mostly a variety of pickles and preserved vegetables) provided a great variety of tastes with every bite. The meat had a great flavor and was cooked just right. Definitely going back to try some of their Gogigui sometime. Very kind and attentive service. Good value too. The tables where you can cook together seem like they would provide an excellent place for conversation in this low-key but high quality establishment. Cell phones down, food on!

We enjoyed Korea Garden very much. We had a very good bean paste soup, and a mixed BBQ platter. Everything was very good, and the service was very friendly. This is an older location, and is the first place Ive been to that grills on actual charcoal. This was a nice improvement over the gas grill. The total cost for two of us and a infant was under $50, even including a generous tip because of the mess our baby made. Recommend, we will certainly be going back.

Next time I WILL try the Korean BBQ! Had to start off somewhere though, so I the mandoo and dolsot bop. If youve never had Korean food before and youre in the neighborhood, Id definitely recommend the mandoo and the dolsot bop as nice "water tester" cant go wrong. Staff is absolutely lovely! The whole dining experience overall is nice and the place has a nice quiet relaxing vibe. The sort of place youd go to on a lazy weekend or a cold day.

Great authentic Korean. Ive lived all over the US and I havent found a place this good in over 10 years. Not only is the food great but so is the service. You feel like family from the time you walk in until the time you walk out. Great for a date night with the hubby or a girls night out. Highly recommended!

Im a huge fan of Asian food and Korea Garden has some pretty fantastic Korean BBQ. There arent a ton of options in the western suburbs to get your fix but Im happy to report that this one not only has great food but friendly service as well. Stop on in, you wont be disappointed.

Before ordering the korean short ribs, I asked the server how is the meat quality. She looked away and responded that no one had complained yet. Guess what? I will be the first one to complain. Bad quality of meat, bad side dish and bad miso. Will not return.

Absolutely delicious food, super friendly staff. We live a couple of blocks away and are so lucky to have a restaurant like this so close. Grilling your own meat at the table over a charcoal fire, endless amounts of delicious little bowls of food, so tasty.

Korea Garden is no longer in business. I wanted to eat at this restaurant, but when I drove buy, the building was dark, the windows were boarded up and the signs were all off. Im sure I would have enjoyed the food if the restaurant was still open.

Food is good, but theyve been closed the last 2 times for weird reasons. One: they ran out of food two hours before closing?! Two: unknown, just the door closed. Definitely not liking that and definitely not worth the drive if this keeps happening

While service was nice, the restaurant felt very empty and the food was not up to par like many of the Korean places in chicago and Northwest suburbs. The noodles were a bit bland and the side dishes were left to be desired.

This is the best Korean food I have had in Chicago area. The Korean owner lady is very friend and her food kept real Korean flavor. Every time I go there I really enjoy every dish

Although the prices are notably higher than at the average Korean BBQ joint, the authentic charcoal grills make this restaurant a consistent favorite.

Decent stews, sides a little salty. Samgyepsal was really disappointing though, think cut and frozen, which resulted in an unpleasantly chewy dinner.

Been craving Korean food and this was the only place in the area. Reminded me of home cooking. Good food for the price and really enjoyed it here.

WOW is the only way to describe this Korean BBQ. Get the spare ribs and beef, but dont expect a western meal. Go there and enjoy.
