This is just another chain run by people from over seas looking to push product over service. Recently, I was in and ordered to Babo and a pastry to go. I paid, and waited for my order. And waited some more while the cashier kept ringing up order that came after me with no one working on my order. Finally, I stepped back up to the cashier and asked when she was going to start my order. She then waived me off!! I said, no, Im not going to wait around while you continue to take new orders. I want my order. She then went to the blender and put her same, unwashed hands into the blender and turned on the water. Just plain water from the tap, no soap, and no hand washing after she had collected my payment and all who came before me and after. (You or I wouldnt handle something as germy as cash and then prepare food for ourselves or our family. Im sure she has the same standards for her family, but she was only into Sales, not service.) She put her dirty hand into the blender and began to swish around her dirty hand with the food that was still on the blender from the previous order. When she brought my 2 drinks, one had hardly any tapioca pearls in it and I pointed it out. She was all attitude and I had to ask for the manager. The manager graciously refunded my money. Negative "star" rating for the money grubbing attitude, but a star has to be indicated to post this.

Tous Les Jours translates to everyday, and this truly is a cafe for every day and occasion! This bakery is so thoughtfully and artistically decorated! It really feels as if youve stepped into a small European shop with black leather chairs, cedar displays, and brick-lined counter. Their cakes and pastries look picture perfect, precisely rounded and very colorful. There are a selection of sweet and savory - cheese, tomato, spinach quiche, sausage rolls, and the like - breads, as well as danishes, pound cake, and buns. Drink selection includes your usual coffees, tea lattes, smoothies, shakes, bubble tea (!!), and ade (a sweet, fruity, carbonated Korean drink). There is also gelato and shaved ice! My simple iced latte was very yummy, had a sweet finish, and was lovingly made (unlike at those bougie artisan coffee roasters). Ill be updating this review as I try everything here because you can truly see the quality-control in the entire breadth of offerings. Tous Les Jours is friendly to and frequented by all ages and demographics - there were two grandmas who chatted me up there to treat one of their little granddaughters to a macaroon! Asian college kids (like myself), suburban moms, and even a bunch of older men in the middle of their workday stopped in when I was here.

The best! Ive lived in Schaumburg for like 25 or more years now and Im ashamed to say I overlooked this place until a few weeks ago. Im not 100% positive when they opened but once you visit youl regret every moment you missed out. So many delicious donuts, cakes and savory treats. Reminds me very much of the Hippo House bakery in Mitsuwa shopping center in all the best ways. Highly recommended!

The service was wonderful. The young man who waited on me was polite and seemed to be excited about working at Tous les Jours. My ginger tea was one of the best ginger teas Ive ever had. A little sweet for my taste but the ginger flavor was amazing! Excited to introduce more people to Tous Les Jours in Schaumburg!

Their Macaroons are to die for, probably the best in the whole west suburbs. Pastries & cakes are good, served fresh. The staff is A-OK & can be off at times. This place is full every time but service is fast & most of the stuff is delicious. Recommended if you are celebrating a special occasion.
