The food is *pretty* good (not great but few are). The wait staff are, on the whole, excellent. But the management *badly* needs to address the hosts. I was there two weekends in a row in July and both times, an older member of the staff had to come from the other side of the restaurant to seat my wife and I while the normal hostesses stood at the podium talking about something on the one hostesss phone. That is a *terrible* impression. The older woman was *very* polite but it was upsetting to see her with some level of physical distress have to hoof it across the restaurant to do what the two young women at the podium should have been doing. Overall I like Blueberry Hill and will continue to eat there - but the hosts need to be reminded that they are the first - and often most obvious - impression a customer gets.

Great food, service stinks! I go here on a regular basis with my mom. When you walk in the door and wait to be seated its like you are bothering the dark haired girl at the desk. She grunts at you and basically tosses your menus on the table. You get the feeling that you are not wanted. Wait staff in the afternoon often take the orders of people who sat down after you first, probably due to the horrific host. Morning staff is awesome and friendly. You really need to work on the face of your establishment, she is terrible and Id be embarrassed to employ her even if she was family. Im about to stop coming here because other options are friendlier.

My wife and I went here after church and it really made my day. I saw a little kid getting a bowl of whipped cream and half-jokingly requested some for myself. I am 51 years old so I thought I might be laughed out of the place but my waitress, Belinda the whipped cream waitress said sure and brought me some. The atmosphere was awesome like a small town cafe. Belinda really made my morning. Ill be going back for certain!

Just went to this restaurant this morning. I waiting to be seated 10mins before the hostess even got to the front. A couple walks in after me and the hostess sits the first. A this point I left. There are many other restaurants who know how to treat their customers. I figured I dont need to eat at a place where youre going to be overlooked as you come in the door. I wish them lots of luck staying in business this way.

This place is an extremely welcome addition to Plainfield. Unfortunately they are only open until 3pm and Im usually only up at noon so I cut it close. Its a Wednesday so it was a little slower. The food was exceptional, I had the steak stir fry. The waitress was friendly. Atmosphere rustic and clean! The rest rooms were well maintained with a novel moet faucet. Ill be back if Im ever up this early again!

This is Plainfields best place for breakfast. Not only is the menu large, but so are the portions. You will want to buy a rescue dog to share your doggie bag. Warning: the OJ is fresh, but over priced. The mango iced tea is wonderful, but sugar laden. That said, try it out!

Im here on a Saturday morning. I was seated relatively promptly and given a booth, even though Im alone. My waitress Jenna is attentive and very friendly. I have dietary restrictions and there was no problem accommodating them. I will come again when Im in the area.

The food is great. The service is usually pretty good too. They need to have the hostess stand facing the door. Theres no one to greet you as you walk in, you have to go around and basically tell them youre there, otherwise, they just dont see you.

1st time visiting and my experience was horrible! Server didnt even bother checking to see if I needed anything or how was the food. Keep in mind that it wasnt even busy. Food, it was okay not the best but it was okay. Would I come back NO!

Had great crepes with fresh blueberries, fresh banana, and fresh strawberries. Delicious. Coffee was good with frequent fill-ups and a to go cup. Service by Amanda was outstanding. She was very helpful. Parking lot is easy to navigate.

Service was really slow, wife got luck of the Irish skillet, not very good. I got country skillet was not good, pancakes were also not good, I would not recommend this place. Prices are high, service is slow, food is not good.
